DOKKEN Wants To Blow Up Your Chicken

DOKKEN is featured in a new commercial for Norton Internet Security 2010, the latest virus, spyware and Internet protection software from Symantec. Watch the clip below. (Note: Three different versions of the commercial are available.) A description of the commercial reads as follows: "Imagine that your hard drive is a chicken. '80s heavy metal band DOKKEN is a computer virus that wants to blow up your chicken. Don't allow heavy metal bands to have their way with your chicken. Get PC protection with Norton Internet Security 2010." As previously reported, DOKKEN's "Greatest Hits, Vol. 2" — a collection of all-new versions of tracks such as "Dream Warriors", "Breaking the Chains" and "Just Got Lucky", paired with several new songs and a cover of "Lies" by THE KNICKERBOCKERS — is tentatively due in October via Rhino. DOKKEN's latest album "Lightning Strikes Again", was released on May 13, 2008 via Rhino Records. The CD is DOKKEN's tenth studio album and it "mark[ed] a true and definite return" to the band's classic sound, according to a press release. In addition to the regular European version of "Lightning Strikes Again", Frontiers Records released a special limited edition of the CD on April 11, 2008 in a glossy slipcase. But fuck Norton. Does nothing but sap your system resources. And they charge you for this shit. Plenty of free software on the web that does a far better job.
Plus, they probably invent half the viruses that are out there so they can justify their existence as a legitimate company. Think of it like the pharmaceutical industry coming up with medications for ailments that nobody has ever heard of. They make this shit up to scam you into thinking their expensive bullshit is necessary.

funny ad!Dokken sounds the same particuarly on the latest cd so I am not missing "I hate don" lynch at all.besides they will reunite and break up again for the 30th anniversy or something like it anyway.yea then we can hear all over again how they hate each other.like I said lightening strikes is classic dokken and better than anything lynch has put out solo.last time I saw them together was at a club and lynch played with his back to the audience the whole night!get over yourself dude you were not that great and nobody wants to copy you now.

LOL...paranoid much? Norton's one of the singularly best antivirus sites available anywhere, if it's "sapping your system" and "creating bogus viruses" for you, I'd say it's something you're doing wrong. I've used it for years and never seen anything even remotely like that.

I have Norton on my computer and it's good about finding viruses. It always tells me, Norton has found a virus on your computer but was not about to remove it. And then I have to research how to remove the infected file myself because Norton is a piece os shit.

Actually saw them with the original lineup when i was 12. Great show,even though not my type of metal. Lynch is an amazing guitarist.
Anti Virus software is a joke. It does take alot of resources for doing very little. Having a couple grams of brain matter will prevent you from getting 99% of stuff. Just stop downloading animal porn and you should be fine.
The reason Macs dont have viruses is because not nearly as many people use them,so no point in fucking with them. And they cost 2-3 times for the same performance,which is a joke since they are made mostly with the same Intel parts now. But they do make you LOOK cool...haha

I like seeing companies take risks with their advertising, even those I despise like Symantec. NAV is a well documented system hog, although I haven't used any version in years so perhaps they've improved that issue.
It would have been better if they had had Ozzy threatening to bite the head off of a bird, though.
