W.A.S.P. Mainman Says OBAMA's Nomination Speech Reminded Him Of HITLER

Geoff Barton of U.K.'s Classic Rock magazine recently conducted an interview with W.A.S.P. mainman Blackie Lawless. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow below.
Classic Rock: You wrote the songs on Babylon while the world was experiencing a global financial meltdown.
Blackie Lawless: It's no secret that I wasn't Bush fan, neither Bush No. 1 nor Bush No. 2. In general, I don't trust politicians. But when this supposed global meltdown was happening a year ago and I saw all these world leaders calling for a one-world government, a one-world system and a one-world currency, I thought to myself: "They gotta be kidding." I mean, do these guys understand what they're talking about? I don't think that they do.
Classic Rock: What sort of stuff makes you grit your teeth?
Blackie Lawless: The whole Lockerbie situation. Freeing that Libyan bomber was a despicable act. Plus, as I say, you look at how it's been socialized. I was watching a TV program the other day. It was a British kid here in the U.S. The interviewer asked him: "What did you come here for?" The kid said: "I wanted to start a small business and I couldn't do that in the U.K." There's no help from the government. You can't get a bank loan. There's no incentive to get anything done. Those days are gone. I thought to myself: "Is this where America's going?" It really hurts me to watch your country go that way. The pride factor has gone.
Classic Rock: You were a supporter of John McCain during the U.S. presidential election campaign.
Blackie Lawless: By default.
Classic Rock: So, how are you finding life under Barack Obama?
Blackie Lawless: I was very, very critical of Obama during the campaign. I wrote a long letter and I sent it out to all the press the night before the election. I pulled no punches with this guy because I had really done quite a bit of research on him while the election was going on. He's one of these old-time 60s radicals from way back. He thinks he's going to change the world and he's hell-bent on doing that. When he stood there the night of the nomination and he said that he intended on "fundamentally changing" America — a chill ran down my back. Thousands of people were just standing there, wildly applauding, and it reminded me of Hitler standing on the steps of the Reichstag. I thought, "These people don't understand what this man is talking about, what his true intentions are, and how he is going to go about doing this." This man, like I said, is straight out of the '60s school of radicalism where he thinks he's going to be Robin Hood and rob from the rich to give to the poor. I subscribe to the theory: if you work, you eat. And if you don't, you don't. It's really no more complicated than that. Do we want to be compassionate? Yes. Do we want to help each other as best we can? Yes. But that doesn't mean that I bust my hump to create something and somebody comes along and decides that I can't keep that anymore. That's not what either one of our countries was really built on.

I have a new respect for this guy. I don't like political statements from artists because they normally spew the same tired mantra..."conservative bad...liberal good" but he hit the nail on the head.
When you call making $250k per year "rich" that's just nuts. Before everyone goes crazy on this board, think what this does to small business owners. So when a small business owner makes $250k per year, he's paying over half his income to taxes??? That's just total socialism.
By his own account, Obama has only identified where 2/3rd's of the money is going to come from for his healthcare reform.

Actually he's pretty accurate. I work with so many people whose children I am paying for through the government. They work a few hours a week to ensure that they get money from the government instead of working full-time and paying for themselves. They live in government housing paying as little as $25 for their rent, while the rest of us work 40-hour weeks and are barely making it with our rent/house payments. They live in comfort and hardly do any work for it, while we are struggling and actually paying for their rent and their children.
This shit is ruining the country. Like this dude said, if you don't work then you shouldn't eat. It's sad to see my own country go from being known as hard-working and blue-collar being turned into billions of lazy asses and only making the distance between classes further away.
It sickens me to the extent that I have been considering moving from the country that I once loved.

My last comment on the matter is this...Obama has control of the House, Senate, and obviously the Executive Branch. If his Healthcare plan was so great, how come his own party doesn't even support it?

a master orator, but the Hitler comparison's have been used so often by both sides that they are really pretty meaningless at this point. Really, I think unless you're very poor, we're all better off with a libertarian approach. Reign in the empire, stop the wars, shrink the parasitic govt., return to the gold standard to reign in the Federal Reserve/Wall St. Casino, and that would be a hell of a start. My only other main point would be to get the mainstream media to broadcast something of worth. Capitalism works on the wants and needs of the people, but it can't if they don't have any useful info. Not that I'm afraid of globalism, but I'm scared of what consolidated power could mean for those of us not in the inner circle. I'm all about unity and am pretty much an anarchist. I know that sounds far out, but we could just privatize all our current govt. and start from their. Then, all positions would have market based salaries, and we could hand them a pinkslip at anytime. The details would have to be worked out, but I'd love to hand or have handed Obama or Bush such a slip while they were blabbing about terrorists or hope and so full of lies. Govt. and language are the two barriers to unity. Wars, tariffs, and passports/visas are created by the govt. They keep us separate- not us. And the language can be learned as needed. Real Unity won't come from consolidated govt.

i have to say that there's too many people, mostly ex-republicans, looking to throw Obama under the bus in any way they can. This happens when the Democrats take over the White House. Obama is no closer to being Hitler than John Lennon is to reforming the Beatles. Just because some so-called celebrity calls out a politician as being the opposite of what he presents, doesn't mean that we take it as gospel. I think that the one benefit we get from celebs on reality tv is that we get to see how they actually think and act. Celebs are in no way a good representation of our thoughts as a country. Their taste changes like the wind...it's all about what gives them their "artistic drive". In a week I'll bet that there's some celebrity speaking out in Obama's favor, pushing him to be what they think is positive. Do us a favor...shut the fuck up. For those of us that voted for Obama, we already know of his ups and downs. We know of his strengths and weaknesses. Considering these aspects, this is why we voted for him. We don't need comments from washed up has beens who are running the club circuit years after they've been done. It looks like Barack Obama wants to eliminate the middle class. Thats what the health care plan will do. It's going to make average income families have less money and fall close to or under the poverty standard. This will make everyone rich or poor, and make it easier to govern who gets what out of the government. I don't know this for sure, but I have thought about it alot. But Barack Obama proves what you can accomplish when you are a good speaker, exploit race, and misinform the people who are stupid to begin with. Barack Obama is like Hitler in that he is popular with the middle class and positions himself as the bringer of prosperity for a suffering nation by giving everything to the unfortunate. Through the loyalty gained by the people, he will have the power to do anything. Hitler and Obama are very similar. We have to wait and see what Obama does to be sure of him. He might just be niave president who doesn't understand that you can't change the world.

I really don't get the Hitler/Obama scenario. Hitler wanted a new world order filled with beings derived from his own standards of white, blonde haired and blue eyed people. His ideals came from the fact that he hated races that were impure. There is no connection to Obama in this. I mean, were talking about a dictatorship, not a democratic union. This view is so far fetched that it stretches beyond the comprehension of our own government and what we fought against in WW I and II. This is the problem with people today, they read the Cliffs Notes on everything and don't take the time to go through the whole story. The information is out there...read it. There is no way a comparison between Hitler and Obama. That's just a crock of shit brought up by someone who didn't vote for him. Rumors like this are so apparent, especially on the web. It doesn't take much to persuade a few people into believing something just by a few thoughts on a website.

Just want to preface saying I am not racist (in fact, my two best friends growing up are black and not the "white acting" kinds). Anyway, if you listen to Obama's speeches only, any reasonable person would of course think he's the best President ever. HOWEVER and this is a big HOWEVER, if you actually look at the things he's said BEFORE being president, along with how he's voted and who he is friends with (self-proclaimed communists), then you would of course question what he says in his speeches because his speeches go against what he has said in the past.
For instance, if there wasn't fall-out from the 9/11 comment, Van Jones would still be our "green czar." Guess what he said (the man appointed by Obama without any congressional approval since czars are out of that requirement)? That's right---he said "I am a communist."
Guess what one of our other czars said? Oh yeah--he thinks abortions/sterilizations should be mandatory after a woman has 2 or 3 kids.
Also, by 60s radicals, Lawless meant that Obama follows Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals " handbook. Pretty scary stuff if you read it, especially since it uses the Devil as a role model (yes, it literally says that).
Also, Obama is mentioning all the "lies" out there about health care reform. I want to point out a lie that he is saying. He is saying it is not his intention to have a single government payer system, and that he likes us to have our own private insurance. LIAR! Guess what? In both 2003 and 2007 he is on record (on video) stating in a nutshell that in order to get government run healthcare, we have to do a stepping stone first - ie, this healthcare bill.
These are only a few things (there are SEVERAL other severely questionable items regarding Obama). Anyway, research, people. It is my belief that any half-hearted American who still wants a decent america to live in would not want Obama if you actually knew all the stuff he is into or has stated in the past. He is one dangerous man. And I do believe if Americans let him, he COULD become a Hitler. I'm personally praying that Obama is restrained from his true agenda.
