take out the Deth Magenetic and Black Album stuff, then we'd have a decent show.

now I kinda wish I'd went to this show so I could have seen Lemmy (Motorhead hasn't played Nashville since they played at a water park here about ten years ago)

but that set list is kind of weak

I would like to see Metallica do a tour with the bands that made it possible for them like Motorhead, Venom and Merciful Fate

im going to see them in october and that set list seems heavily dedicated to the death magnetic record, on this tour has that been the case at all shows, or do they play a lot of the classics?

Well, you know, they're touring to SUPPORT the new album so it makes sense they'd play a lot of stuff off it. That being said the set list looks pretty much the same as their European tour, maybe some songs' order is switched up. I'm seeing them in October as well, first time since 1987. My husband has never seen them and is nerdily excited.

Weak? Really? 6 new songs, 2 Motorhead songs with Lemmy, Creeping Death, 4 Black Albums, One, Master, Battery, Seek.....and my least fave TTPage. Pretty solid. Not tear your face off, but very cool.

It was a great show and I love DM, but only 5 songs off the first 4 records was a little disappointing.

...mikkey dee is doing a tv show, then he could have given lars a drum lesson. or maybe just took over. imagine - metallica with a good drummer; even i would go to see that.

Hey, why stop there? We could have got Phil on guitar, Lemmy on bass and vocals and Mikkey on drums and then they could play only Motorhead songs... I'd got to see that, in fact, I do!

WOW!

Seem to have really hardcore Southern accents. I mean, I know it's Nashville, but damn. I don't know if it's cuz I'm a Northerner or what but my ex-girlfriend was from Nashville and her accent wasn't nearly as hardcore.

Was every fan at that show an inbred/retard? And what was up with Grizzly Adams' white trash brother in the second video?

Good God...
