TESTAMENT's PETERSON Shows Off Signature Guitar; Video Available - Sep. 22, 2009
Video footage of TESTAMENT's Eric Peterson showing off his new Dean signature guitar, the "Old Skull V", can be viewed below.

"It's a guitar I've been playing for a while, and I think people will enjoy the action," Peterson previously said. "It's got triple-binding, all-black EMG pick-ups, block inlay, and some really cool artwork. Not too much, but enough to keep it evil!"

TESTAMENT performed on August 10 at the New York City studios of Sirius XM as part of the satellite radio service's "Artist Confidential" series.

"Artist Confidential" features the most important and timeless artists in music sitting down for candid interviews, intimate conversations with fans and live performances.

The show is scheduled to air later this year on Sirius XM's Liquid Metal, Sirius channel 27 and XM channel 42.

TESTAMENT recently canceled its previously announced South American dates in September in order to focus on recording the follow-up to its acclaimed 2008 album, "The Formation Of Damnation".

TESTAMENT has been touring non-stop in support of "The Formation Of Damnation", including this year's Priest Feast tour in Europe with JUDAS PRIEST and a phenomenal run on the Metal Masters tour last year with HEAVEN & HELL and MOTÖRHEAD.

That's a pretty evil sweet axe. Anyways, Testament should be added to that "dream tour" of the "Big 4". Me thinks it should remain 4 bands as Lars' head has already blown up too big on the subject in that Metallica would be the headliners getting more time etc or whatever it was he was ranting about. So, I say Dave & Kerry/Slayer bury the hatchet for good, Charlie and Scott become indentured servants to John Bush so we have a top notch Anthrax set, and get Testament on board. Have a rotating line up with equal time for each band. For an encore, each band learn a song from each of the other 3 and have a 4 song monster jam session with rotating line ups on each song. Now that would be cool, hella cool. I'd really love to hear a collaboration between Mustaine and Skolnick.

Modern day Testament is now the gold standard in metal. The Big 4 have nothing left but their glory days.

a shared, equal set time each too.

You guys have my vote.

Megadeth
Testament
Slayer
Metallica

Much rather see Testament. I dont dis-like anthrax but they are a mess at the moment. Plus the stuff I like from them isn't their "classic" so eh.
