MARILYN MANSON Says He Was Diagnosed With 'Swine Flu'

Marilyn Manson has revealed his MySpace blog that he has contracted the H1N1 virus (commonly known as swine flu). "So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU," wrote the shock rocker this past Monday (September 21). He then used the opportunity to make a dig at his ex-girlfriends. "I know everyone will suggest that fucking a pig is how this disease was obtained," he continued. "However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness." As of September, 1 million likely H1N1 infections were reported in the United States, according to the Sioux City Journal. Of those cases, 9,079 resulted in hospitalization and 593 in death. Those who are not vaccinated have a 30 percent to 70 percent likelihood of contracting H1N1. Dr. Gregory Poland, professor of medicine and infectious diseases at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, said 25 of every 100,000 people risk hospitalization and one of every 3,000 to 10,000 people who are infected risk death.

Man, this sucks. I am not the biggest Manson fan but I do appreciate what he's brought to the world of music. He's been somewhat of a role model with the whole raising the "freak flag." This really is too bad.

It doesn't take long to get over with. H1N1 is in fact less harmful to humans than your average flu. Elderly and weakend people die from the flu every day. The press just generates an awful lot of attention about the "swine flu".

This is all just hype to get you to take the injections. The banker controlled media is trying to scare us with the common flu by giving it some scary name and telling us when terminally ill people die from it.

My family has had it and most recently my two nieces this past week. Our strains were mild and no where near the normal 'flu', just had sore throats, fevers, but nothing too bad. I know several people who have it right now and unless you are already affected with something else to compramise your immune system, it shouldn't be an issue.

I saw him Sunday night in Ottawa and he was really sick. He could barely talk and there was a crew member bringing him oxygen and liquids in between songs. The show was short and meh.
A friend of mine went to Montreal as well and she said it was a better show...sounds like he is already recovering.

One thing that would help would be for MD's to stop prescribing antibiotics every time someone has a stuffy head....that's what's going to cause the mega-bugs of the future, if we don't get a grip on this stuff.
And when you are prescribed an antibiotic, take all of that shiz (unless your doctor takes you off of it for other reasons). If you stop too soon because you "feel better" it'll just create monster bugs.
And then there's those FEMA coffins.

You idoits. H1N1 is a stronger flu than the common flu. Don't be fucking stupid and do nothing to prevent yourself or other people from getting sick. It isn't a supersickness, but people who have weak immune systems or a preexisting condition are the most likely to risk death. A mojority of people will just have the flu with worse symptoms. Don't take this lightly like a fucking cocky prick, but don't be afraid unless your weak.
