GUNS N' ROSES: Korean Show Announced - Sep. 24, 2009
According to the Korean concert/entertainment promoter All Access Entertainment, GUNS N' ROSES will perform at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul, Korea on December 13.

GUNS N' ROSES' schedule is now shaping up as follows:

Dec. 11 - Taipei, Taiwan - Taipei County Stadium
Dec. 13 - Seoul, Korea - Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium
Dec. 16 - Osaka, Japan - Osaka Dome
Dec. 19 - Tokyo, Japan - Tokyo Dome

"Chinese Democracy", the sixth and most recent album from GUNS N' ROSES, was released in its entirety to the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content on April 14.

The tracks are available for purchase as an album or individual tracks for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system. The tracks are available for purchase as individual tracks only for Wii.

Aside from Billboard and Spinner interviews and answering a number of fan questions at a GUNS N' ROSES message board, singer Axl Rose has done no promotion of any kind for "Chinese Democracy".

"Chinese Democracy" was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on February 3, 2009 for shipments in the United States in excess of one million copies.

GNR has as much of a chance of returning to Korea as Frank Burns does returning to Korea.

I can't believe anybody gives a shit about this farce of a once unique group of musicians.
This is to the real GNR as Beatlemania was to the Beatles.

... Axl hasn't burned the fans in thoses countries with his no-shows and abrupt ending of concerts.

Let's be honest, whether you personally like the album or not, Chinese Democracy was barely a blip on the music radar. The anticipation for it got more attention than the actual release did!

I expect Axl's next move will be to pull a Journey/KISS and have his new bunch of sidemen re-record Appetite and release it.

I'd pay to see Axl's solo project. Not bad.

Good music barely makes a blip on the radar anymore. I listened to the local Rock station the other night for 12 hours at work. I heard the same Nickleback song four times, A Theory of the Deadman song three times, and never heard "Check my Brain" one time in that 12 hour span. Now you tell me what is being opushed by radio. I really worry that Alice in Chains new album will be ignored to some dgree. On the Octane top 20 countdown on Monday, "Check my Brain" was 14. !4. How in the world is it all the way back at 14? There was some band fronted by a female that sounds like Kelly Clarkson ahead of it.

Point is this, these new band are the ones being promoted and played over and over by modern radio stations and no matter how good the material is that an older band releases, it will not be played like these newer "junk" bands.

For all of you posting negatives here, if you don't live in Korea, you lose all your credibility. So few Western bands come here and in the last few years it's been improving with new rock festivals. The few Western bands that do occasionally make it here, only do a gig on a weeknight on their way to Japan, so very few foreigners here who want to go to concerts actually can get there. So I'm happy that the concert is on a Sunday. Beggars can't be choosers.
