Jason left when he had his kid. I was at the show where he had to leave early due to his wife going into labor. It ended up being their first full acoustic live set, good stuff.

I have been following Shinedown for many years, starting when they had a heavier sound. JASIN TODD was FIRED by Brent and Atlantic. Jasin supposedly recorded The Sound of Maddness, but was fired shortly afterward. You can tell they re-recorded his tracks because that is not his "sound".

I think there is a pattern here. Brent fired the original bass player also with no reason. Now it is just the BRENT SMITH SOLO BAND not really SHINEDOWN. Looks like someone sold out all of his friends for $$$$$. Just my 2 cents. I still like the band and music. Just a shame when money and politics spoil a great band.

Why the hell is the band spoiled when The Sound Of Madness is their best album yet! Every friggin song on the album is just awesome! How could you say that the band got spoiled?!?!?!?!?!?!

Jasin Todd was fired because of drugs and erratic behavior. Brent was originally signed by Atlantic to PUT TOGETHER a band, so it IS Brent's band. Well, his and Atlantic's band. At least the latest album is much better than the stellar debut and muddled sophomore effort.
