RANDY RHOADS' Brother, Original QUIET RIOT Bassist To Take Part In Online Chat - Oct. 6, 2009

Original QUIET RIOT bass player Kelli Garni and Kelle Rhoads, brother of late OZZY OSBOURNE/QUIET RIOT guitarist Randy Rhoads, will take part in a live audio-video chat session on Sunday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST via Garni's recently launched new social networking site, dubbed the RR Network, for fans of Randy Rhoads. The chat will be open to all registered members.

As previously reported, Garni and Kelle Rhoads are among the musicians who will perform at the Rhoadsfest, set to take place December 6, 2009 at the Whisky A Go Go. Billed as "the best Randy Rhoads tribute show ever," Rhoadsfest will be attended by other members of Randy's family and will feature a performance by Kelle with RHOADS TO OZZ (said to be "the one true authorized Rhoads tribute band"). Six acts will play at the event, which will include special Randy Rhoads features and Rhoads original artifacts on display.

In 1982, Rhoads, the then-lead guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE, and two others were killed at Flying Baron Estates, just outside Leesburg, Florida, when their small plane struck Osbourne's tour bus, then crashed into a mansion.

	For fucks sake don't turn Randy into another fucking commodity! It's bad enough he isn't as celebrated as he should be, but this is not the way to keep his memory alive by selling his old shit! I hope I'm wrong and this isn't just another money making scheme by the family of a fallen musician, and a great musician at that! It's nearly 30 years in the making so I don't know, but for fucks sake celebrate Randy, don't sell him because you're to lazy to get a fucking job! That is, if that's what it is. If not, why the hell did you wait 30 years to do this? You should've done it when I was in that area a number of years back! Fuck!

	Some better recording of Randy Rhoads. I say its a good bet there is a lot more recordings out there than just the little bit that has been officially released. Randy deserves better than what his recoded legacy is so far. They ought to release some of this stuff. There used to be a dvd bootleg floating around called "SIX STRING GOD", that had a shit load of Randy stuff on it. What do we have to do, wait till Sharon the Bitch Osbourne is out of the picture? At least they ought to release some thing else. I think all the Quiet Riot stuff has pretty much been released, but there really needs to be more Ozzy time period material than just the 'Tribute" album.

	Just went to the myspace page and listened a bit to this Rhoads to Ozz tribute band. The band played ok, but the singer trying to do Ozzy was pretty terrible in my opinion. Unbearable. I've heard way better Ozzy imitators.

	This is the most honest re-creation of Ozzy and Randy's Blizzard Of Ozz Band most have ever seen. Selling out RR? Gimme a break. These guys are class acts, lifelong musicians, and former students of Ms. Rhoads, with no intention of selling out Randy, and they do the music and the man justice! Check out the info before you go throwing around the "F" word so much "Eyiest" (previous poster). They all have jobs and have studied Randy's music since childhood. No one is selling RR original items. The original RR items are being displayed by the family for the fans to finally see. Very cool. So chill out previous poster 'Eyist'. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE LONG AGO! RR fan'S ACROSS THE WORLD BE THERE !!! God Bless Randy Rhoads 1956-1982.

	^^^ jeffbrentbass that singer was garbage and sounds nothing like Ozzy. They are shitting on the legacy with that guy up there, they could all be great musicians but we wouldn't know from the distraction that is a "singer" of that band. That singer needs to study not shitting in peoples ears cause that was just wrong, I feel like I need a shower after watching those clips you posted in your link.
