Former FAITH NO MORE Singer CHUCK MOSLEY Interviewed On 'Talking Metal' - Oct. 7, 2009
The latest episode of "Talking Metal" features interviews hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy conducted with former FAITH NO MORE vocalist Chuck Mosley and Michael Seifert of Mosley's band VANDALS AGAINST ILLITERACY (V.U.A.) as well as guitarist Erik Kluiber of WHITE WIZZARD.

Photos as well as the 60-minute podcast can be downloaded at this location. The podcast can also be streamed using the audio player below.

Mosley released his first solo album, "Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food", on August 11 via Cleveland-based label Reversed Image Unlimited. The CD showcases the Godfather of rap-metal seamlessly blending rock, hip-hop, metal, punk and funk. Recounting his previous work, Mosley, as he describes it, would "rant to the beat." On his latest effort, Mosley's musical stew combines this approach with an exploration of his vocal range. It's apparent that he chose to let his amalgam of cultural saturations melt into this new album, which he describes as "just very normal for me."

"Will Rap…" was produced by multi-platinum award-winning producer/engineer Michael Seifert (BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY, FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE, and most recently Reversed Image electro-rockers THIS IS A SHAKEDOWN!). Featuring guest appearances from a cast of characters Chuck has affectionately deemed Vanduls Ugenst Allliderasy, John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON), Roddy Bottum (FAITH NO MORE, IMPERIAL DRAG), and Michael Cartellone (LYNYRD SKYNYRD) all contribute to the record. KORN frontman Jonathan Davis (courtesy of Warner Bros. Records), who attributes Mosley as a massive influence, also makes an appearance on the lead single "The Enabler".

WHITE WIZZARD is putting the finishing touches on the as-yet-untitled full-length follow-up to the "High Speed GTO" mini-album with producer Ralph Patlan (MEGADETH, UFO, MICHAEL SCHENKER). According to WHITE WIZZARD bassist Jon Leon, the new CD will contain "10 songs that will rip your head off."

The CD will be mixed at the legendary Prairie Sun Recording in Northern California.

Early versions of two songs that are expected to appear on WHITE WIZZARD's 2010 album — "40 Deuces" and "Over The Top" — are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

WHITE WIZZARD formed in 2007 and shortly afterwards recorded its "High Speed GTO" demo, which only made it into the hands of a few select fans. Following a brief period of inactivity, the demo fell into the hands of Earache Records and the "High Speed GTO" song was included on "Heavy Metal Killers", a compilation featuring 13 tracks from the best new traditional-sounding heavy metal bands. Earache Records released the "High Speed GTO" tracks as a mini-album this summer.

^^^You can download some Chuck singing for Bad Brains on dimedozen I think.
It sounded OK, but it wasn't HR.
I saw them live with Chuck and again it was 'OK'.

From what I heard on myspace a few months ago CM stuff sounded OK.

Can't find the album online yet though.
