3 INCHES OF BLOOD Interviewed On 'Good Time Metal Oldies' - Oct. 21, 2009
Jason Saulnier of the "Good Time Metal Oldies" radio show conducted an interview with Cam Pipes and Shane Clark of Vancouver, British Columbia metallers 3 INCHES OF BLOOD on October 14, 2009 at the Paragon Theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Watch the nine-minute chat below.

"Good Time Metal Oldies" airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. EST on CIFA 104.1 FM in Nova Scotia and Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. EST on 95X in the Republic of El Salvador.

3 INCHES OF BLOOD has scheduled a special headlining show in memory of the band's fallen friend and ex-bass player Brian Redman. This event is set for Saturday, November 7 at Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma, Washington.

Commented the group: "We are happy to be paying tribute to our lost friend and former bandmate, Brian Redman. This show is about honoring Brian's memory and celebrating his life. We want everyone to enjoy this show, have fun and remember the good we all had with Brian because he always knew how to have a good time and we're confident that he would have wanted it that way."

Show details:

Saturday, November 7
Hell's Kitchen
3829 6th Avenue
Tacoma, WA

Openers: THE JET CITY FIX, GLIMPSE

Redman died on September 26 in a motor vehicle accident near his home in Tacoma, Washington.

3 INCHES OF BLOOD previously stated about Redman, "Brian was an outgoing and charismatic person who was great friends with most people he met. We couldn't help but smile or laugh when he was around. He had such a likable personality but also had a knack for putting serious things into perspective.

"While in the band, Brian played a big part. He joined the band shortly after signing a big record deal, and endured the turmoil that followed after recording our 'Advance and Vanquish' album. For a time, the band's future was uncertain, but Brian was unwavering in his desire to play this music with us. He was loved by many and enjoyed life to the fullest.

"Goodbye, Brian, our fallen brother. You will be greatly missed."

Brian Redman was in 3 INCHES OF BLOOD between 2004 and 2006 and appeared on the band's 2004 album, "Advance and Vanquish" (Roadrunner).

This show and the Moncton show were fucking great! I met 3 Inches plus the guy who conducted this interview. Great dudes! Traveling to Moncton with Black Moor was the greatest time of my life. Don't miss the chance to see 3IOB. Hope they come back East some time real soon!

These guys rule! Their new CD kicks ass!
This interview, however, is a bit lame.
