ROBERT PLANT In Talks To Play Next Year's GLASTONBURY Festival - Oct. 26, 2009
BBC News reports: LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant has admitted he has spoken to festival organizer Michael Eavis about performing at U.K.'s Glastonbury next year.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music at the Q Awards, he said, "I've just been talking to Michael. There's place for me there, but I have no idea who with."

Plant said he is open to the idea of playing next year: "There is a chance yeah, but I don't know with who."

When it was suggested to him that he could do it by himself, he joked: "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm good at card tricks."

Plant picked up the "Outstanding Contribution to Music" award at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

I hope this doesn't prompt the worlds press to hound him with questions of a potential Zep reunion again. I get the impression that he might well do it one day but he seems to react really badly to being asked. Can't say I blame him.

he is for sure one of the greatest, and i agree he will come closer to a reunion if he's not hounded about it.....if he does not i'm sure it would still be great to see him do his solo stuff back with his solo band.....get away from stuff of lately.....his older solo stuff would be wonderful to hear again....

COMMENT | Whatever happened to that band....
