"Bleed", the new video from the Dutch metalcore act
BLEED, can be viewed below. The clip was produced and directed by
Dave Hazeleger and it "showcases the band at its best — energetic and aggresive," according to a press release.
Says singer
Thomas: "Nowadays, metalcore seems to be all about posing. The music is weak and video's are huge
MTV popcorn productions. We wanted to take the genre back to its core: A clash of metal and hardcore that makes you want to kick people in the face."
BLEED is based in Amsterdam and consists of former members of underground favorites
NECROLOGY,
STANDARD,
CARDINAL and
MINDFIELDS. The group's recently released promo has received critical acclaim and is available for streaming in its entirety on the band's
MySpace page.
