JETBOY Completes Work On New EP - Oct. 26, 2009
Veteran glam rockers JETBOY have completed recording an EP of their first original material in 20 years, and are currently negotiating for its release later this year. In addition, a rock documentary film on the band is in the preliminary stages of being shot by Reality Check TV, which also produced the "mini-doc" included in JETBOY's last CD/DVD release, "The Glam Years", on Cleopatra/Deadline Records.

"The Glam Years" contained a DVD of a 1986 concert at Los Angeles' legendary Whisky a Go-Go (featuring a chock-full of extra interviews and photos) as well as a 21-track CD of the group's greatest hits.

Decided to give it a fair shot and went ot their Myspace page to listen, only thing shittier then that picture is their music. Only 9300 fans, for good reason. Not glam, sleaze, just crap. Generic, uninspired, boring.

The guy on the far right is a failed musician.... He was in a bunch of unsuccessful glam/ metal bands, and now gets paid to rant and has the nerve and to act like he knows anything about music on a podcast, he has trouble getting musician guests coz he nags and cries about them...
its pretty crappy and alot of lame product placement...

Jetboy made exceptionally good records, especially Damned Nation and Feel The Shake.
They deserved much more publicity than they got, my guess is bad PR people back in the day...

COMMENT | No they didn't

No they didn't, Its like Slash said in his biography,

They thought they was different coz they had a mohawk....

compared to Hanoi Rocks, Ac/Dc they didn't get it they way those bands did...
