ALICE IN CHAINS' 'Your Decision' Video To Feature 'Project Runway' Model AMANDA FIELDS - Nov. 1, 2009
"Project Runway" season three model Amanda Fields is featured in the new video from ALICE IN CHAINS, "Your Decision", which was recently filmed in California. In a posting on Blogging Project Runway, Fields writes, "I just shot a music video today for the song 'Your Decision' by ALICE IN CHAINS! It was so much fun and I felt like I was dreaming — the location was so surreal! It was this giant house between Santa Monica and Malibu off of the Pacific Coast Highway. You look out the window and see the beautiful blue Pacific!

"The band members, Jerry, Sean, Mike and William, were fun to work with and the director had such an incredible vision. The stylist, a friend of mine, Cory Savage, really knows how to make a rock video couture! The band members all wore crisp expertly tailored suits and the string quartet wore flowing white dresses with black lace blindfolds!! My wig was made out of feathers!"

Check out of a photo from the video set below.

The "Your Decision" video is being directed by Stephen Schuster, who previously worked with ALICE IN CHAINS on the "A Looking In View" clip.

To coincide with the band's European tour, ALICE IN CHAINS will release the "Your Decision" single on November 16 in the U.K.

"Your Decision" is the second single to be lifted from band's first all-new album in 14 years, titled "Black Gives Way To Blue", which sold 126,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart (behind latest albums from PARAMORE, MARIAH CAREY, BARBRA STREISAND and BREAKING BENJAMIN).

ALICE IN CHAINS recruited pop legend Elton John to contribute piano to the CD's title track, which is written in tribute to Staley.

Singer William DuVall had played with his own group, COMES WITH THE FALL, as well as in Jerry Cantrell's solo band, before joining up with ALICE IN CHAINS in 2006.

"Black Gives Way to Blue" was recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH) at the Northridge, California studio of FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl.

Should have been the first single. In my opinion, the only song on BGWTB that is a true AIC classic.

I think that's all right with AIC, cuz this band isn't just about singles. They sell well because they make good singles but their true greatness comes from how they don't depend on catchy melody to make a music with impact.

Every song on this cd is an AIC classic. This should have been the 4th single...as a late "welcome to the new shit" to all the radio single fan morons who weren't smart enough to buy this on the first day.

"Every song on this cd is an AIC classic." You devalue an awful lot of Alice In Chains songs, sir. If you think "Check My Brain" stands up to Would, Rooster, Junkhead, I Stay Away, No Excuses, God AM, etc., then I would go so far as to say you might not really know a whole lot about music.

"all the radio single fan morons who weren't smart enough to buy this on the first day" Yeah, running out and buying something on the first day just because you are a blind fanboy is definitely smart... lol

"I think that's all right with AIC, cuz this band isn't just about singles."

I never implied that AIC is "just about singles." Looks like you did though... "They sell well because they make good singles"

"Their true greatness comes from how they don't depend on catchy melody to make a music with impact." - Check My Brain has about as much impact as a pillow fight. In fact it's radio friendly crap.

"Should have been the first single. In my opinion, the only song on BGWTB that is a true AIC classic." - Have you actually listened to Acid Bubble or Private Hell? Unbelievable songs that are, in my opinion, the best on the album and true AIC classics.
