HYPOCRISY's 'Divinity' Lands On German Chart - Nov. 3, 2009

"A Taste Of Extreme Divinity", the new album from HYPOCRISY, the Swedish extreme metal band led by guitarist/vocalist Peter Tägtgren (also of PAIN), has entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 62.

"A Taste Of Extreme Divinity" is being released in the U.S. today (November 3) via Nuclear Blast Records.

The North American mail-order version of "A Taste of Extreme Divinity" features three exclusive bonus tracks.

HYPOCRISY's last album, "Virus", came out in September 2005 via Nuclear Blast Records.

HYPOCRISY has enlisted CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho to play guitar on the band's upcoming North American tour. Alexi will temporarily fill the currently vacant guitarist spot on the trek, which will also include headliners ENSIFERUM alongside BLACKGUARD and SWASHBUCKLE.

Commented Tägtgren: "We're very happy to bring Alexi along on this tour and that he's helping us out with filling the second guitarist position.

"Funny, the first CHILDREN OF BODOM show was a support gig for HYPOCRISY on the Nuclear Blast festival in '98. Since then, me and Alexi have become very good friends. I've helped him with producing and he's helped me by contributing a guitar solo on one of my records with my other band PAIN.

"There will be no shortage of alcohol on this tour, that's for sure."

HYPOCRISY's North American tour with ENSIFERUM, BLACKGUARD and SWASHBUCKLE is scheduled to kick off on November 6 in Springfield, Virginia. A list of dates can be found at this location.

	I can't beleive this band charts. Who listens to Hypocrisy on purposem really? Good musicians, a producer in demand...but musically this band has very little to offer and people still seem to eat it up constantly.

	I am a dumb? Either you never listened to the bands Peter produced or you're deaf. Hypocrisy is an amalgam of all the bands Peter produces, depending of what's in his studio at the time. Their music is sterile and unoriginal. I do not like the band because of its lack of originality and because their albums usually end-up being generic and pales when compared to their contemporaries. Peter is doing much better in Pain and still showcase a terrible lack of originilaty or identity. He's a great producer and his band is built around top notch musicians, this doesn't make them more interesting or original when they work as composers... Some people have a hard time using their brains when they face an opinion they do not agree with...

	FUCK YOU FIENDISH GOUL!!! THIS BAND RULES AND WILL KEEP RULING FOR MANY YEARS. THE NEW SHIT IS AMAZING, A REAL MASTERPIECE, PETER KNOWS EXACTLY HOW TO MAKE A GREAT ALBUM, HE IS LIKE WINE: THE OLDER THE BETTER!!!! I HOPE THE BAND COME TO BRAZIL SOON!!!
