Parents Of Missing METALLICA Fan Announce New Search; Video Available - Nov. 4, 2009
WRIC-TV8 reports that Virginia State Police announced a community search for Morgan Dana Harrington — the missing 20-year-old junior from Virginia Tech who was last seen at METALLICA's October 17, 2009 concert at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia — planned for this Friday.

State Police and Harrington's parents announced the new search effort for Morgan Harrington during a news conference Wednesday (see video below) in Charlottesville, where Harrington was last seen in mid-October. Three days of searches will be held in Charlottesville starting this Friday through Sunday.

Also attending the news conference was Ed Smart, father of Elizabeth Smart, the victim of a high-profile missing persons case.

METALLICA and State Police and Harrington's family and friends have combined to offer a $150,000 reward for info leading to the missing girl.

Anyone with information is asked to call (434) 352-3467.

Blessings for her family during tough times certainly help, peace, as well. Hope they find her, no matter how doubtful.

We know she went to the show with friends. I wonder how her friends got seperated from her? Perhaps she was lured by a guy away from friends as some witnesses said they spotted her arguing with a guy.

My gut tells me that foul play was involved and its hard to believe she is alive with modern technology, but than again her purse and items were already found. Metallica was SO GENEROUS putting a $50,000 award along with Police $100,000 award. Lars and James each have about $400 million so each member metallica member put in about 12,500 each SO GENEROUS
