Large Turnout Expected In Charlottesville Search For Missing METALLICA Fan - Nov. 6, 2009
Rex Bowman of The Roanoke Times reports that organizers of a three-day search for Morgan Dana Harrington — the missing 20-year-old junior from Virginia Tech who was last seen at METALLICA's October 17, 2009 concert at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia — said Thursday night they anticipate up to 1,000 volunteers could show up today for the kickoff of the effort. But despite the expected turnout, they are continuing to urge residents around the state to converge on Charlottesville to take part in the search for any trace of the Roanoke County woman.

Thursday night, more than 300 volunteers arrived at Charlottesville's Cavalier Inn, not far from where the 20-year-old was last seen October 17, to attend a meeting at which organizers briefed them on the logistics of the massive search. Organizers hope to have teams of volunteers out in the neighborhoods, back streets and wooded areas of Charlottesville from 9 a.m. until dark today, Saturday and Sunday.

OH YEAH, IM BALIEN AND I TYPE IN ALL CAPS LETTERS CAUSE IM A BIG BADASS, I AM ALSO ACTING LIKE I COULD SO EASILY GIVE UP ON MY CHILD AFTER THREE WEEKS--GRR I EAT PAIN FOR BREAKFAST, NOTHING CAN PHASE ME--try and see this from the parent's view, not your stupid ego. They cannot find their child, they've already realized the fact that she has ran away or has been killed, maybe they just cannot except it yet. You go ahead and tell yourself that you'd already be over it, it just proves how shitty of a parent you are, or will be. Fuck off.

GodHEADBANGS - please, spare me the criticism of all capitals, as your handle is more than half capitals. You know nothing of me, nor my family. I do see it as a parent, yet you never asked me of it. Are you a parent? I typed in capitals with an incredibly strong emotion, as when Polly Klaas went missing here in northern California back in 1993. Most missing children cases are viewed by law enforcement with a 48 hour window of opportunity to find them alive, after that time period, the chance of finding them alive are extremely slim. I ache for this missing girl's parents, yet the previous posts descriptions of witnesses of her disappearance are grim. I would NEVER be over a missing child, niece, nephew, granddaughter, grandson, mother, father, aunt nor uncle. Family is everything, as i have read and felt of your impassioned critique to me...GodHEADBANGS, I am with you...
