SCHWARZENATOR — the self-proclaimed "ultimate Arnold Schwarzenator concept band" featuring guitarist Shane Gibson ( KORN) and Rhythm magazine's "Best Drummer in the World," Austrian-born Thomas Lang, will showcase their debut EP, "Schwarzenator", at West Hollywood, California's Key Club on the Sunset Strip on Monday, December 7 at 10:00 p.m. Melding comedy, irony and a healthy dose of parody with virtuoso musicianship, SCHWARZENATOR manages to lampoon California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger's finest film offerings — ranging from "Kindergarten Cop" to the "Terminator" franchise — while rocking audiences to their endoskeletons. The ultimate heavy metal homage to all things Arnold Schwarzenegger, SCHWARZENATOR also features the outrageous JP Von Hitchburg ( VENISON, WITHIN THE VOID) on vocals; bassist Eloy Palacios ( VENISON) and yes, even more insane guitars from Jonathan Weed ( CHARLIE SUPERFLY). ...it's pretty inspired that they have a track called "Capt Freedom's Workout," but judging by the MySpace samples this project it seems that Schwarzenator falls WELL below the standards of Arnocorps, Goretorture, and Austrian Death Machine.

Arnocorps sucks, I checked them out cuz of all the hype everyone gave them when ADM stepped onto the scene. Was very disappointed.

whats the obsession with musicians forming Arnie bands it was quite cool when Arnocorps did it but now theres quite a few doing it it's lost any funnyness or coolness it had.
I think it would of been funnier though if someone did a Mel Gibson band but just use his phrases from everyday life and South Park.

Tim: "There is not a rivalry between the two bands, but it seems the some of the fans enjoy making a rivalry out of us. Realistically we are pretty noticeably different in both sound and concept. They are a punk band and Austrian Death Machine is a metal band. Furthermore, their concept has nothing to do with Arnold himself because they claim he helped Hollywood "bastardize" their great Austrian tales. On the other hand, Austrian Death Machine claims Ahhnold to be the front man and is absolutely in favor of him as the one who I believe makes all of this stuff entertaining in the first place."

the Finnish band GORETORTURE did the concept first with their album entitled, I Promised To Kill You Last...I Lied! (PYRO-001) in 2004. All the songs were using Arnold movies as references.
The other three bands are just pretenders to the throne.

Search for "arnocorps nbc" on youtube. It's a news story on them from before Arnold was even governor and says that they had been around 3 years already. So arnoCorps did this long before even Goretorture.
