What kind of question is that?

"Oh, yeah, I'm going to take my private jet there so that I can see the movie, although I already saw a pre-prescreening..."

Seriously? What kind of question is that?

They're braver men than I.

"Une nuit" would be une too many for this Englishman.

Hopefully the next day Metallica spend in france will be St.Crispin's day, 1415. Then we'll never have to hear from them again.

Not crazy about the last decade and a half of Metallica but the venue looked awesome and both Gojira and Merrrimack are good French bands. I don't hold a lot of respect for the French governments but the people have always had balls - check out the resistance in WWII.
P.S. I'm a Texan, not a Frenchman.

well I'm french, I fucking hate our government, and the people who still think there's no metal scene in this country and talk other ignorant shit,
1/ probably spent the last 20 years in a cave,
2/ don't know shit about the underground,
3/ need to pull their heads off their asses and go travel a little, or at least open a book if you can't afford travelling

all the people not just here, but all around america who talk shit about the french know nothing of the history of france or the history of french and american interaction, they just go but what their white trash spokesman on fox and rush limbaugh tell them, "they didn't help us in EYE-RAQ!"

You're fucking idiot of the most ignorant kind. The audio is taken from the soundboard, dumbass. There's no need to post-produce because for a live recording the best sound is what comes through the soundboard. And well-mic'ed drums sound better than anything live anyways.

Get an education in live music production before you start giving advice on the subject, you ignoramus.

"There's no need to post-produce because for a live recording the best sound is what comes through the soundboard."

Man, there are A LOT of live records fixed in post-production because the best sound is what comes through the soundboard WHEN THE MUSICIANS PLAY IN AN OUTSTANDING MANNER. Sometimes there are errors, mistakes, technical intereferences that many records have them in full (LIVE Hammersmith Odeon - Black Sabbath w/Dio) and others fix it post concert (ALIVE I - KISS).
