METALLICA Announces Theatrical Screenings Of 'Francais Pour Une Nuit' in France

If you live in France or will be visiting this Monday or Tuesday, check out a special preview of METALLICA's "Francais Pour Une Nuit", the live DVD filmed in Nimes, France on July 7, 2009. You can own a copy of the DVD on November 23 (pre-order here or, if you live in Europe, here), but here is a chance to see it first and on the big screen at 17 Kinepolis or Europalace cinemas across the country on Monday, November 9 or Tuesday November 10, depending on the location. Reservations for places will be available on the web site www.cinemasgaumontpathe.com. Not crazy about the last decade and a half of Metallica but the venue looked awesome and both Gojira and Merrrimack are good French bands. I don't hold a lot of respect for the French governments but the people have always had balls - check out the resistance in WWII.
P.S. I'm a Texan, not a Frenchman.

Get an education in live music production before you start giving advice on the subject, you ignoramus.

Man, there are A LOT of live records fixed in post-production because the best sound is what comes through the soundboard WHEN THE MUSICIANS PLAY IN AN OUTSTANDING MANNER. Sometimes there are errors, mistakes, technical intereferences that many records have them in full (LIVE Hammersmith Odeon - Black Sabbath w/Dio) and others fix it post concert (ALIVE I - KISS).
