BONDED BY BLOOD: Almost Done Writing New Album - Nov. 10, 2009
Jose "Aladdin" Barrales, frontman of Pomona, California thrashers BONDED BY BLOOD, has issued the following update:

"Well, where to start. We had a great run this year with the tours in support for [2008's] 'Feed The Beast'. We did a West Coast tour, a full USA tour and two European tours. We got great feedback and had lots of fun.

"A lot has happened since then. We have been working really hard to give you a great second album. We don't want to disappoint and I'm pretty sure you wont be. We also lost a great friend and bassist but quickly found a great replacement in a guy named Jerry Garcia. Some of you locals may know him as the Taking Over Bassist, which has brought great ideas to the BBB table.

"We are almost done writing [material for the next BONDED BY BLOOD album]. We have also demoed some songs for our listening pleasure. It also helps me write lyrics. I have shown some of my really close friends and allies and they love it. It's a step up from the old stuff and a step in the right direction.

"We have a couple of album names floating around but nothing is set in stone.

"We have narrowed down some studios in L.A. and around the area as well as producers. There is also a really cool artist that instantly captivated our eyes with his work I'm pretty sure you will love him as well once you see the art.

"The sound and subject matter is a bit different than our last attempt but in a good way. It's heavier, fast and a bit more technical and precise. Still has that BBB taste.

"We are trying to get in the studio in December or maybe even January. So this new, untitled album will be out early next year. I know you can't wait to get your palms on it. Shit, I'm fucking excited to get my palms on it."

Capital Chaos has uploaded video footage of BONDED BY BLOOD performing the song "Necropsy" on April 20, 2009 at the Java Cafe in Fair Oaks, California as part of the "Masters Of Disaster" tour.

"Feed The Beast" was released on May 9, 2008 in the U.K. and June 24, 2008 in the USA via Earache Records. Recorded at Love Juice Labs in Los Angeles in February 2008, the album features 12 tracks.

These guys suck and change the band name. Come up with something original instead riding the coat tails of EXODUS

By your logic then Overkill must suck too, because they named their band after the Motorhead album and song of the same name.

Bonded By Blood might not be as good at what they do as some others, but you have to give them credit for getting out and playing to keep the genre alive.

@Hellrazor666 Nice logic, dude. Machine Head sucks, Overkill sucks, Whiplash sucks...

Awesome band. I can't wait for new album.
