CAMP FREDDY — the Los Angeles-based "jam" group featuring
Dave Navarro (ex-
JANE'S ADDICTION,
RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS),
Billy Morrison (ex-
THE CULT bassist, current
CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist),
Matt Sorum (
VELVET REVOLVER, ex-
GUNS N' ROSES),
Donovan Leitch (son of legendary folk singer
Donovan), and
Chris Chaney (
JANE'S ADDICTION,
ALANIS MORRISETTE) — has issued the following update:
"It's official. We will be back at The Roxy in Los Angeles during December for three shows (the fourth one would have been Christmas Eve, so we decided to just do the three shows this year) and we will be theming the shows this year. Each week will be completely different sets and different guests. More about that soon. The dates are December 4th, 11th and 18th (all Fridays). And the tickets will be just $20 per show, or a special $100 ticket that gets you into all three shows, plus an opportunity to come and hang out all afternoon on the 11th and be a part of the soundcheck, say hello, take some pics with us and get a signed print."
CAMP FREDDY last year parted ways with Los Angeles' acclaimed
Indie 103.1 radio station, which has aired the band's weekly show every Saturday for nearly five years.
Since its formation seven years ago when they rocked the opening of The Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles at the invitation of
Brent Bolthouse,
CAMP FREDDY has performed on both coasts of America and on national television shows (
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno",
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!",
"Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn",
"Last Call with Carson Daly").
