TOMMY LEE Collaborating With Comedian DANE COOK - Nov. 11, 2009
According to MTV.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee is collaborating with comedian Dane Cook on music for Cook's next album "I used to love MÖTLEY CRÜE growing up and he's a big fan of mine," Cook said. "I called him the other day and I said 'Would you collaborate on this thing that I put together?'"

Regarding what their collaboration sounds like, Cook said,"It's actually very different than anything [Tommy's] done before. He's a sensational drummer. I would say this is a little bit in the Jack Johnson vein, a little bit funky, a little jazzy."

Yeah, I really hate the usage of the term "douche bag" as an insult as it's real played-out... but it perfectly fits both Tommy Lee and Dane Cook. In fact, Tommy Lee invented the modern-day douche bag look all by himself.

I've got to review this stand-up dick's show Friday night.

Read the Canadian news article at this link for a glimpse at Cook's true colors.

Plus my preview of this joke-jacking theif. Fuck him:

There exists within and among artists, especially in the comedic underworld, a street-survival mentality rooted in protecting each others’ integrity, and, when infringed upon, pulling out all the stops in retaliatory smear campaigns against offenders. So brings us Dane Cook, who, according to the numbers, stands at the zenith of the modern comedy mountain. His 2005 “Retaliation,” went double platinum and he became the second comic to sell out Madison Square Garden two years later. But he’s has taken a ritual beating for material-jacking, and it can be argued that his over-animated delivery robs his bits of context. For the curious, hunt down Joe Rogan’s scathing revelations of how Cook boosted material he watched Rogan perform live. Or the shameful lifting of three Louis C.K. bits which resurfaced via Cook in 2003. A 2006 Rolling Stone article zaps Cook for a joke originally performed by Emo Philips. For someone claiming, "I want to be the heavyweight comedy champion of the world,” racking up shoplifting charges may not be the way to go.

I cannot wait till this dick's 15 minutes end.... I honestly tried to watch him to see what the big deal was - nothing EVEN CLOSE to funny, yet the crowd was going insane. I began to fear for our future. Shut it off after 15 minutes.

Holy balls. How lame. Tommy Lee is such a dumbshit that it almost makes him likeable even though his band sucks. At least he banged Pamela Anderson before she started looking like an 70 year old tranny.

Dane Cook on the otherhand has no redeeming social value whatsoever and should be tied in a potato sack with a bunch of heavy rocks and thrown into a lake.

THE BIGGEST DOUCHE IN ROCK MEETS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE IN COMEDY.
I respect Tommy Lee with Motley Crue (eventhough a retarded monkey could have played just as good as him). But outside of that I think TL has the least amount of rock cred.
But Dane Cook??????? Are you fucking kidding me???? I don't understand how he is funny. I don't know maybe I need to beat me head with brick. I don't understand how he qualifies as a comedian. Hell Pauly Shore is more of a comedian than Dane Cook and even he blows.

why the fuck is he doing anything with Dane Cook, he's one of the most boring person on earth.
Tommy is great rock drummer and he's drumms always sounds great.
but i wish his side projects were more heavy stuff. but his second album was good and more rockier. the little i have heard from the new MOM seems to be fine but we'll see how the end result is.
