MASTODON Schedules Tempe Signing Session - Nov. 11, 2009

Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON will take part in a signing session at Best Buy in Tempe, Arizona on Tuesday, November 17 at 5:30 p.m. Pick up a copy of "Crack The Skye" and have it autographed. Also, listen to 98 KUPD for more details on how to win a guitar lesson with Bill Kelliher.

MASTODON performed the song "Divinations" live on the October 30 edition of NBC-TV's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon". Watch video of the performance below.

MASTODON has written the score to "Jonah Hex", the comic-book Western/horror film starring Josh Brolin in the lead role, with support from John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Michael Fassbender and Michael Shannon. The movie is based on the DC comic series about a horribly scarred antihero who is "a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood."

MASTODON guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds makes a cameo appearance in the film, which is being directed by former Pixar animator Jimmy Hayward for a June 18, 2010 release.

	Zia wouldve been a better environment but im at ASU i dont complain when a band is stopping by 2 miles from my home.

	There's a guitar shredding competition at 3pm and the winner gets a custom Mastodon guitar. Not sure if they're going to be there, but it's worth a shot. Now, I may have to not go to either since I, too, am at ASU and will be stopping by the Phoenix campus prior to the show. And doors are at 5, so that's a bit of a problem for either.
