I might have bought this if it had a live album included. Who cares about lithographs? Serious question.

No not the adult diapers. I guess it depends on how much it costs. So it comes with the score?? as in... a fully orchestrated version of the album with a symphony?? im a bit lost on that one. yeah again I guess itll depend on whether its 25-30 bucks or something outrageous like 50+ bucks.

cool and original

i like to see bands go the extra mile to make the experience memorable, especially in the age of digital music, where you have NOTHING physical in your hands

decent album too!

I forked out about $40 for the tunnel book edition and now they want to rerelease it less than a year later? Bullshit! I'm not buying it.

It seems to me that they're doing this partially because all of the other limited edition stuff went out really fast - like before the actual album even came out.

Idk if I'll get this, but this isn't a bad move for the band.

the score is just the record without vocals as opposed to an orchestral score where everything is written out on paper.

it was on itunes with purchase. not bad. i think musicians will like it for play along purposes.

Pay attention much? I can't stand it when artists rerelease something less than a year after its original release with extra stuff. It's a cash grab. Oh and...fuck you.

Cash grab maybe, but Mastodon always puts out some nice, fancy shit. This is something for all the people who missed out on that tunnel thing. If you don't want it, don't buy it.

The record company has to strike while the iron is hot because no one knows when the next big thing will hit and Mastodon fades away from everyones favorite bands list. I'm not bashing on the band at all. I've been a fan since the first time I saw them play live. They are very popular right now and he all know that interest wanes pretty quickly. Especially with todays throw-away culture.

the "no one is holding a gun to your head" arguement is still valid. If Mastodon or any other band release a new version of a disc every month so fucking what! if you dont like, dont want it or cant afford it that's on you not the band we all cant have everything
