Post-progressive rock band
WORLDENGINE, led by multi instrumentalist
Valmor Pedretti Jr. and singer
Cristiana Camboim, has just released on
YouTube a "making-of"-style video for the song
"12th", from the upcoming, still-untitled six-song EP, currently being mixed by
Thiago Grün. The track showcases the band's concept of international collaboration, with fellow Brazilians
Vinicius Möller (
ABSENCE OF) on keyboards and
Andrio Maquenzi (
SUPERGUIDIS) on background vocals being joined by German musicians
Frank Heim (
SALTATIO MORTIS) on the Chapman stick and
Paul Schreier (
GUESS THAT MESS,
NORA HILL) on drums. French guitarist
Pipo (
ROSA LUXEMBURG,
PIPO & ELO) closes the track's musical lineup on acoustic guitar. Israeli singer/songwriter
Lilac Harel provides lyrics to the song.
During the coming weeks, another track will be released via
MySpace, called
"Echolalia", featuring guest appearances by bassist
Joey Vera (
FATES WARNING,
ARMORED SAINT,
OSI), singer
Sel Balamir (
AMPLIFIER) and keyboardist
Alex "Azium" Wilmer.
