THEM CROOKED VULTURES To Play 'Surprise' Show In Hollywood Tonight - Nov. 16, 2009

According to a posting on the LED ZEPPELIN fan site Lemon Squeezings, THEM CROOKED VULTURES — which consists of FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl on drums, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE singer/guitarist Josh Homme and LED ZEPPELIN bass player John Paul Jones — will play a "surprise" show tonight (Monday, November 16) at the Roxy in Hollywood, California.

Tickets to today's show must be purchased on site; limit two per person. Customer must enter immediately after purchasing tickets, and there is no re-entry. It hasn't been stated what time tickets go on sale or what time the show is — just that you won't be allowed to line up before 2 p.m.

THEM CROOKED VULTURES's self-titled debut album will be in stores on November 17 via DGC/Interscope Records.

Following their first North American tour of mostly East Coast cities in October, the group will next head west for four gigs this month. The band will perform on November 17 in Los Angeles, November 19 in Oakland, November 21 in Seattle, and November 22 in Portland, Oregon.

THEM CROOKED VULTURES taped a performance for the Austin City Limits TV program on September 30.

	and the album should have been called songs for the deaf 2. it's basically a watered down songs for the deaf. either way it's going to be a disappointment. it sounds exactly like qotsa. they should have had mark lanegan sing lead vocals. josh homme used to have better delievery, now everything sounds the same; to shitty faux-british delivery.

	"It looks good on paper but the music is boring as shit." says the guy listening to Megadeath and Metallica... I think the music is good. It sounds similar to Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf, yet I think this album is 10 times better and don;t feel the need to skip every other song. I think the album is solid. The break down in the first song was good and Bandoliers is my favorite of the album so far.

	Indie sell out tosh from a guy who is now so far up his own ass he probably failed to realise Grohl was even there. QOTSA lite and irritating as fuck.
