'Rocklahoma 2009' DVD Now Available - Nov. 16, 2009
The official "Rocklahoma 2009" DVD is now available for purchase by calling 866-310-2288 or ordering online at Rocklahoma.com. It features over 57 minutes of music, including performances by RATT, ANTHRAX, JACKYL and TWISTED SISTER.

Double Exposure Media has uploaded a three-part, professionally filmed video report/overview (see below) from this year's Rocklahoma festival, which was held July 9-12, 2009 on the Catch The Fever Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma. Photos from the event can be found at this location.

The third annual Rocklahoma featured performances from over ninety bands on four stages.

Rocklahoma is one of the largest rock festivals of its type featuring music from the Eighties. Attendance has come from all fifty states and six out of seven continents.

Both Playboy and Rolling Stone in 2008 called Rocklahoma one of the top festivals that should not be missed.

Catch The Fever Festival Grounds is located four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma and has 6,200 assigned and numbered seats, as well as general admission on the lawn for over 50,000 people. The grounds also feature over 4,000 campsites, on-site parking, bathroom facilities, a convenience store, Rocklahoma also has a Picture Alley that allows anyone in attendance to approach the stage during any performance and take photographs of a favorite artist at close range.

Most of these bands are from CA, why cant they have a festival like that here int he bay area or even southern CA, but why Crappy hick ass Oklahoma of all places ?? !!!! LOL

I would imagine because a) it's a lot cheaper to put on something like this in OK than CA and b) they've got a built in audience. I think whoever puts this on is trying to make it a destination thing like Bonaroo.

From what I understand this is an annual four day festival and all they can come up with is a lame 57 minute DVD. Sad.

the reason why it's in Oklahoma is because it's a centralized location, and cheaper to throw the fest.

I wish they would release the "Thrash Day" Thursday footage, and also the ICON/ WARRIOR sets.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the video you see on this site has nothing to do with the DVD. We were out there on our own dime to help promote the festival. The audio you hear on these clips is actually what was coming out of the stacks on the stage. Distortion and all. It was very frustrating. Our video from the year before did not have this issue. I'm hoping that the audio they probably pulled directly from the board is much better than what was live out of the stacks.
