ZAKK WYLDE To Launch New GIBSON Guitars At Sydney In-Store - Nov. 16, 2009

Zakk Wylde, legendary guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE and founder of the heavy metal band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, will appear at Allans Music store in Sydney, Australia on December 3 for the launch of his new Gibson guitars, the Les Paul BFG, Les Paul Bullseye and Buzzsaw, and the latest addition, the Graveyard Disciple.

Designed by Zakk in cooperation with Epiphone, the new Graveyard Disciple combines killer sound with equally killer looks. Shaped like a coffin, the edges of the body are tapered and pin-striped in silver giving it a striking visual appearance and depth while providing for a comfortable feel.

The new Zakk Wylde Gibson USA BFG Guitar embodies the mammoth tone and over-the-top rock attitude of its name sake and offers all the equipment necessary to undertake your own scorched-earth attack on your local music scene. It features a rough-hewn book matched maple top, a rounded '50s spec neck with ebony fingerboard, sizzling EMG 81 and 85 humbucking pickups all approved by Zakk Wylde himself. The guitar comes in two Zakk-certified finishes to choose from, a Bullseye graphic or Buzzsaw graphic over a satin natural nitro finish all produced by the world’s most famous guitar manufacturer, Gibson USA.

	I guess Zakk was going for a Bo Diddely vibe, but it looks pretty ugly to me. I don't think those guitars will sell well at all. I wouldn't buy one, but the BFG guitars look pretty neat.

	Allans couldn't sell the last model of this guitar. It was on sale for wholesale last Christmas. Screw allans. They treat their staff like shit and a friend of mine is taking them to court for bullying by management, to the point where my friend was suicidal.

	Please folks buy this guitar. After being fired by Ozzy this dude is broke and he needs money to stuff his fat face with burgers and fries. Please help a brother out. This guy should be consider the poser of the last 25 years. If you look at pics from him when he joined Ozzy he looked like he could play with Poison, now he is going for the rough biker look. Fuckin poser, fuck you.

	Whats up with all the hate towards Zakk and this new guitar comming out. I guess when all you haters get good enough to have Gibson put your own guitars out we will all know who you are. The fact is Zakk Wylde has carried Ozzys sorry behind for more than twenty years and he deserves to at least be treated with a little bit of respect, if not from those who dont know the business, but from people like Ozzy who knows what Zakk has meant to his being able to function the last twenty years. Face it people Ozzy Osbourne sucks, and without Zakk it shows bigtime, I became a Zakk Wylde fan because of Zakk Wylde, not Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk will continue to ride the lighting while Ozzy starts his retirement.
