SLAYER Frontman's Condition Is 'Improving More And More Every Day' - Nov. 17, 2009
Apparently, twenty-five cities just wasn't enough for MEGADETH and SLAYER on their upcoming "American Carnage" North American tour which kicks off on January 18 in Seattle.

The co-headliners announce today that one more date has been added to the itinerary — the bands will play Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York on February 12. Tickets go on sale November 28 at all Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com, with a pre-sale launching tomorrow. Log on to www.slayer.net for all the details.

Yesterday, SLAYER and MEGADETH announced that they will tour the U.S. together for the first time in nearly two decades, with TESTAMENT as special guest. The now-26-date trek will include the six "Canadian Carnage" dates that had been postponed earlier this month due to SLAYER vocalist/bassist Tom Araya's back problem.

According to SLAYER's manager, Rick Sales, "Tom continues to recover and is improving more and more every day, so I think by the time January 18 rolls around, he'll be ready for some carnage."

Fuck yeah. Damn - I loved the tour with MachineHead - I could have done without Suicide Silence - but it would have been so cool to have seen Testament on the Canadian Carnage dates. And only three bands? That is the ticket - longer sets.

Great bill for sure.

Two bands mixed by Andy "clear as fuck" Sneap VS one mixed by Greg "muddy as hell" Fidelman...

Fortunately, Slayer will sound way better on stage than on their butchered yet decent new album.

I´d skip Testament and choose Exodus and/or Over Kill over that band ANY day, just my opinion. Anthrax? No way.
