LITA FORD, Husband JIM GILLETTE To Guest On 'Long Live Rock' - Nov. 17, 2009
On Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, 6:30 p.m. Central and 4:30 p.m. Pacific, Blog Talk Radio's "Long Live Rock" will open the phone lines for fans to have a chance to ask a question to '80s hard rock queen Lita Ford and her husband Jim Gillette.

The live number to call in to "Long Live Rock" is (347) 637-3446.

"Long Live Rock" is hosted by the author of "The Grand Delusion" and by Classic Rock Revisited editor Jeb Wright.

Rock My Monkey recently conducted an interview with Lita Ford. The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

"Wicked Wonderland", the first album in 15 years from Lita Ford, sold around 2,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 31 on the Top Hard Music Albums chart.

"Wicked Wonderland" was released in Europe on October 2 via earMUSIC/Edel. The set was issued in the U.S. on October 6 through Lita's own JLRG Entertainment label as a regular CD and limited-edition vinyl with different artwork.

In an "innovative" music marketing move, Ford released a single from "Wicked Wonderland" on Stockroom.com, the world's leading fetish site. It is believed to be the first time a relatively high-profile music release has been launched through a web site catering to the alternative fetish lifestyle.

QUEENSRŸCHE and Ford have teamed up for over two dozen dates beginning October 15. Lita is hitting the stage during the QUEENSRŸCHE set to perform three songs, including "Close My Eyes Forever", which she is singing with QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate. For all songs, Lita is being backed by QUEENSRŸCHEGeoff Tate on vocals, Michael Wilton and Parker Lundgren on guitars, Eddie Jackson on bass and Scott Rockenfield on drums.

I always wanted a USA-built BC Rich from the 70's or even the 80's

Mockingbird, Rich Bich, it doesn't matter ;^)

And so does Jim.
Love Wicked Wonderland!
Great to see Lita back tearing it up.
Caught her with Queensryche a couple weeks ago.
Awesome - the crowd went fucking nuts!
Got to meet her and Jim at the bus after the show.
The most down to earth people.
I was more blown away by how cool they were than anything.
They stayed outside in the cold and made sure every single person had pics, autographs, etc.
They even gave away about a dozen EP's.
Long live the Queen!

hahahahaha
Inked up and cool as hell.
Love the new tunes.
Wish I could have caught a show!

2600 copies? Oops. Considering all the press they are doing, seems like the fail of the year.

I dig Lita for carving her place into metal in the 80s. I was there and I know she inspired many of us gals to learn guitar. I just don't dig her music, but I still respect her as a woman in rock.

What I don't dig though, is her husband in every interview. I don't care whether he plays on stage with her, the package is HER and I didn't see his circa 1999 mohawk'd ass back in the 80s.

Pukeface, said they're like Sonny & Cher. Dude, I say it's more like Paul and Linda McCartney or God forbid, John and Yoko! lol...

I dunno... it just seems like an unnecessary element to her return to music and nobody could deny that if it was HIS career comeback and album and she was sitting by his side, you lot [and the press] would have a field day, mocking them!
