CHICKENFOOT's self-titled debut album was certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) on September 10, 2009 for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States. The LP is packaged in heat-sensitive artwork, which means when you put your hand on the CD inlay, photos of the band members are revealed behind the CHICKENFOOT band logo.

International rock music record label earMUSIC will release a new, "deluxe edition" of the eponymous debut album by CHICKENFOOT in the U.K. on November 23. The two-disc deluxe edition includes a bonus DVD disc featuring exclusive live footage, behind-the-scenes interviews and both of the band's official music videos ("Oh Yeah" and "Soap On A Rope").

CHICKENFOOT's September 23 concert at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona was filmed for possible use on a future DVD release. The band's August 30, 2009 show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia was also recorded for the same purpose.

	I really hope they record a second album. Really refreshing what these guy's are doing, good straight up rock & roll. I agree, great musicians and great guys.

	but in this day and age, concerts are just out of control price wise. I use to go to show after show but not anymore cause ticket prices are too expensive and the fucking cost to park your car is outrageous also. Now I get almost every live dvd release from bands and artists I use to see cause it's what i can afford. Seeing this live video release and eventual dvd release is welcomed. Can't wait to see this.

	I am a failed drummer. I am a star in a bar. I played drums for a guy that's name rhymes with Mackie. Now I play cover songs in Florida and pretend I'm all thaty. I've got thinning grey hair that I die jet black. I wish to god I could make a come back. I was never a real band member only a hired gun. I guess you could say I was never anyone. I'll tell you I love you then threaten to sue. I've got man boobs bigger than you. I've got a piece of shit RV in my wifes name. Got the cops called on us - oh what a shame. I got thrown around the boss's cage. I'm jealous and my heart's so full of rage. He's bigger he's stronger he's richer by far. I'm a side guy and he's a singing star. Why is it that I'm such a loser. Such a lame piece of shit and oh such a boozer. He's got it all a great big house. I have maggots, ants, and even a mouse. I lost my mind a long time ago. Wish my life was better - say it isn't so. I leave you today with this tiny request. Some one please tell me my drumming's the best! I SUCK!

	take a page out of Chickenfoot's book and start doing for your fans what these guys are doing for theirs. Albums, tours, movies, DVDs, etc. Get on it.
