According to the
web site of the
B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City, former
IRON MAIDEN singer
Paul Di'Anno will perform at the venue on January 27, 2010 as part of his first U.S. tour in over 15 years. Support at the show will come from
ICARUS WITCH.
When asked by
Vue Weekly in a recent interview about the possibility of releasing a new studio album in the not-too-distant future,
Di'Anno replied, "We did five new tracks in Germany last year — it's very industrialized — but we got in a bit of an argument with the record company and we told them to piss off, basically. So I kept them songs and a friend of mine where I am right at the minute in Salisbury down in Southwest England, has just handed me 16 pieces of music so I'm going to go away when I have a bit of time and see what I can come up with for that."
