L.A. GUNS Members Schedule Acoustic Performance - Nov. 19, 2009
L.A. GUNS vocalist Phil Lewis and guitarist Stacey Blades will take part in a special acoustic performance on Wednesday, November 25 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California.

For more information, see the image below.

L.A. GUNS' latest album, "Tales from the Strip", was released in August 2005 in the U.S. via Shrapnel Records. The CD, which was produced by Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES), was lyrically inspired by a historically significant rock scene that L.A. GUNS had a strong hand in creating.

Phil Lewis' L.A. GUNS is not to be confused with the Tracii Guns-led version of the group, which is also continuing to record and perform under the L.A. GUNS moniker.

Without Tracii=No such thing as L.A. Guns

Phil and Stacey are a separate band.

No Phil=no Guns. Without the singer, its not the real thing. Tracii's version is the side band. He's the one who left to be in Brides of Destruction, then tried to come back. Phil and Steve Riley have been in the band the whole time (after making it big that is). Its unfortunate that Steve and Tracii own 50% rights to the name. Do you all really want to see the runner up from Rockstar singing LA Guns songs? The version without Phil sucks.

Traci started the band and continued on with Chris Van Dahl, Jizzy Pearl and Ralph Saenz after Phil quit the band. Neither Phil nor Steve are original members of the band.

However......Traci has quit and rejoined so many times I've lost count. Plus Phil is the guy who sang on a majority of their biggest hits.

i like traci myself but i tell ya stacey blades aint no kiddy player himself after all he played with roxx gang and even tho some of there later stuff was all but trash in my opionon his earlier work with those guys was killer ..and around 95 with roxx gang we looked and sounded just like the boyz in the 80's with an exciting and well laid out appearence to himself..real good lead player to...no one can feel another shoes and we shouldnt expect them to but some of the times and i mean sometimes there comes along a replacement that nails it perfect...
