ERIC WAGNER's BLACKFINGER Schedules Wisconsin Date - Nov. 21, 2009
BLACKFINGER, the new project featuring ex-TROUBLE vocalist Eric Wagner, has a show scheduled on Saturday, December 12 at Vnuk's Lounge in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Support at the gig will come from Chicago's EARTHEN GRAVE, featuring ex-TROUBLE bassist Ron Holzner and renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine.

For more information, visit www.vnuks.com.

Check out the BLACKFINGER's live demo, "For One More Day", and the acoustic track "All The Leaves Are Brown" at the band's MySpace page.

BLACKFINGER is:

Eric Wagner - Vocals
Doug Hakes - Guitar
Rico Bianchi - Guitar
Ben Smith - Bass
Larry Piatz - Drums

Eric Wagner left TROUBLE in April 2008, citing his disdain for the touring life as the main reason for his departure.

Sorry Eric, not totally digging the new tunes....

I respect your work though.

I would rather listen to this than the crap that Trouble is putting out with Kory Clarke. Eric is the only person who can and should sing for Trouble.

Earthen Grave is a cool band, but that song by Eric's band is horrible. If you'd rather listen to that than Trouble, you have some serious problems with your ears.

Is this guy like a descendant of Richard Wagner?

...ala Misery Shows Pt II or Rain...

Agreed Eric is forever the voice of Trouble. I'm so glad I saw them live before he split. They were great.

New music ("Dark Riff") sounds great, but Kory Clarke is horrendous. The pro-tools programmer will need to put in a lot of OT on this...

the new tunes are pretty cool. if thats not enough,
they perform a couple of trouble tunes, lid material, and have done my tortured soul from the probot project.

I play guitar in Earthen Grave and we opened for Blackfinger over the summer. I went in with much the same impression as some of the comments above, that it was whimpy stoner Beatles thing. What they played that night was heavy as shit and the overwhelming take-away from the show was "Wow, Blackfinger were heavy." Heard that many times from people in the days after.

I don't know the band or what they're up to now or what they'll play at Vnuk's, but they certainly weren't screwing around that night.

Saw Blackfinger at Vnuk's Saturday night and they are heavy as sh*t. I was very impressed with the band Eric has put together. Eric sounded great, the band is tight and rips real nice. I was also impressed with Earthen Grave. The singer has a great voice, they are pretty heavy as well with a unique sound from the violin virtuoso. Great night of music, wish more people would have checked it out, well worth a look on both counts. Blackfinger and Earthen Grave bring it.
