TROUBLE: Pro-Shot Footage Of New Song Posted Online - Nov. 21, 2009
Berlin, Germany's PitCam Production and More-Metal.com have posted professionally filmed, multi-camera video footage of legendary Chicago doomsters TROUBLE performing five songs — including the brand new track "Hunters Of Doom", from the group's forthcoming CD, "The Dark Riff" — on November 30, 2009 at the Magnet club in Berlin. Watch the clips below.

The band previously stated that the material that is set to appear on "The Dark Riff" features "massive, killer riffs" that are "sure to please ANY TROUBLE fan . . . As you can tell by the [new album's] title, IT'S HEAVY! The band is resorting to the root of what made TROUBLE in the first place and what they are best at, DOOM! This will no doubt be the heaviest TROUBLE release since the mid-'80s when they crushed the masses with what is now known as 'Psalm 9' and 'The Skull'."

TROUBLE's forthcoming album will be the group's first to feature new singer Kory Clarke (WARRIOR SOUL), who joined the band last year as the replacement for Eric Wagner.

TROUBLE's recently released live album, "Live In L.A.", was recorded in Los Angeles and is available at NewTrouble.com.

Eric Wagner left TROUBLE in April 2008, citing his disdain for the touring life as the main reason for his departure.

I saw Trouble in a small club in Memphis a few years ago, and they were great! One of the best metal shows I've seen. Great musicianship.

I had heard for years how influential this band was on Metallica and other big-name metal bands. After seeing their show in Memphis, now I know why!

I saw them way back in the 80s in Florida a the Button South and at the Metro in Chicago and I agree they blew me away both gigs - way underrated band - and yes Swawn Lane was god

Trouble is a great band, and I liked Warrior Soul back in the day,but Kory's voice sounds shot in these clips.

And yes, Shawn Lane was a God.

sounds cool- not as doomy as they indicated in the description of the new album. But that's good, I actually like them better when they are more up tempo. Kory sounds alright, but I'm sure he'll nail it in studio. It will be hard to replace Eric, but oh well. Hopefully he'll come back after taking some touring time off; Strange that he was burnt out from that considering the long hiatus from Plastic to Simple Mind though.

...but Kory Clarke sounds like absolute sh*t, at least in these videos.

I saw them w/ Eric Wagner and he sounds exactly like on record - awesome! This guy sounds horrendous, like he's not even trying to sing in tune.

I will check out the new material, but I hope I can stomach the voice...

I saw them with Exhorder's Kyle Thomas on vocals back in 1999, and it was just as bad as it now with Kory Clarke.

Unless Wagner comes back, I'll pass.

That's exactly what I always thought of Trouble. I got used to Eric's voice and worshiped the band in spite of it, but you people are lunatics! By what stretch of the imagination does Eric have a "good" voice? Sure, I'm used to it too, but he is far from irreplaceable--especially since Trouble is all about GUITARS, not stoned out screechy singers who can't remember the lyrics. What kind of cult is Eric running?

Trouble was a great band. Warrior Soul and Space Age Playboys were great bands. Kory can sing but hes trying to be Eric and its not working. Hopefully he'll sing on the album cause Trouble with the voice of Warrior Soul could be a really great combination.

The music on the new song sounds good, but Kory Clarke sounds absolutely awful. Completely drags down the song. He likewise butchers the older stuff in these clips. I think I'll pass on this.

House Of Blues - Chicago

Simple Mind Condition = Classic - The final REAL Trouble album

Until .............The Reunion

No Eric,No Oly ................. NO TROUBLE

I'd rather hear T-Boner & RiotAct666 sing these songs.
They could probably do better.

Certain bands can make the "lead singer" change if they are lucky enough to find somone respectable, suitable and at least "aurally" in the ballpark(which Kory isn't) All the Trouble albums which everyone loves has Eric's style and unique voice stamped in. Oly's drumming is important as well to the classic Trouble sound. Just like your love for Weiland and Bill Bailey.

No Udo.......No Accept
No Tyler ....No Aerosmith
No Halford ...No Priest
No Klaus .... No Scorps
No Tate ..... No Queensryche
No Mercury ...No Queen

I'm certainly not saying Eric Wagner is even close to THAT league but his importance to the Trouble sound is as we can hear massive. I'm sure if they would of actually searched they could of came up with someone much better and it might of helped a bit.

I never thought I'd say it but......................

No Eric ........sadly No Trouble

Notice how Rick sarcastically said in the video that he went "bye-bye" They wanted Kory in the band and it couldn't be more obvious that Eric was kicked to the curb. Eric should come out and admit it instead of crying about not wanting to tour anymore. WE KNOW HE WANTS TO AND HE SHOULD. Don't worry kiddies, Eric will be asked back once they realize their mistake....... you watch and see.

Looking forward to the new album. First heard them on the Collector's Guide to Heavy Metal CD sampler back in 97 or so (the track 'The Eye'), when I was about 15, and have loved them ever since. They literally got me into underground metal. That and the aforementioned book. And saw them for the 1st (and so far only time) last summer and got to meet em. What a dream come true. True legends.

Oh and I wouldnt judge Kory by this gig (judging by the new song and 'Assassin'). His voice at least when I heard him (last summer) was pretty good. And he was a good singer on his Warrior Soul CDs back in the day (havent heard any of his newer stuff). Im sure he was just sick this night...it sounded like it. Happens to every vocalist from time to time.

And the new song does sound like something off of their 1990 s/t album as opposed to their 'classic 80s doom' sound that was heard on Psalm 9 (originally s/t too) and 'The Skull'. Still the 1990 s/t album was doom, as well...and really their last true doom metal album.

So the only way Clarke is able to promote himself is with a beer in his hand, interrupting and embarrassing his band mates like a total douche? Sorry, did I douche? I meant "legend". Why doesn’t anyone in his bands tell him to STFU and give a coherent interview. Sadly it looks like Trouble are starting down the same road as the now shambolic Warrior Soul.
