AEROSMITH Guitarist To Present At AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS - Nov. 22, 2009

AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry will be a presenter at the 37th annual American Music Awards. The show will take place tonight (Sunday, November 22) at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre and will air live on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET. Word has it Perry will be presenting the fourth award of the night.

The 2009 American Music Awards will honor artists in the categories of pop/rock, country, rap/hip-hop, soul/r&b, alternative, adult contemporary, Latin and contemporary inspirational. For the third year in a row, winners were determined by online voting.

	I watched some of that horrible shitfest and I have to wonder when the AMA's became as irrelevant as MTV. I also have to wonder why "rhythmic talking in rhyme" became considered a musical art form. Oh right, because a bunch of stupid white brats from the suburbs spent their yuppie parents money on rap cds and every dropped to their knees to worship the almighty dollar. But guess what, just because it makes some asshole money doesn't make it MUSIC!!!!
