DAVE MATTHEWS Plays OZZY OSBOURNE In 'Saturday Night Live' Skit

Dave Matthews played Ozzy Osbourne in a "Saturday Night Live" skit this past weekend featuring Andy Samberg as Jack Johnson, hosting "The Mellow Show". Johnson's guests/co-hosts for the evening show included Dave Matthews (played by Bill Hader) and Jason Mraz (played by host Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Matthews himself then comes out, playing Ozzy, and sings his rendition of the SABBATH classic "Iron Man" as "I Am Tired". Watch the skit below.

This show has gone downhill in the past few years. It now relies on the same stupid humor that Family Guy does, opting for things being funny because they are "random and absurd".
Though I give props to Dave Matthews, that was a pretty funny Ozzy impression.

Bobo, I have a sense of humor when there's humor to be found. SNL hasn't done anything remotely funny in decades. Skits are always start nowhere,go nowhere and are too long. I really dont understand why this show is on the air. Borefest X 100

music is mostly pretty boring, even if he and his band are amazing musicians, but he seems to have a pretty good sense of humor about himself. this is funny....

SNL is shit nowadays but it still has its moments, and thats one of them. Good pick me up for the day.
Also, it seems that Adam Sandberg is almost channeling Adam Sandler. He looks like him. That other guy who impersonated Matthews looks a bit like Jim Carrey.

It's just too bad some of you nancies lack a dry sense of humor and wit. Not all humor has to be "nyuk, nyuk" laugh out loud (or LOL for the new gen). And if I found it to not be humorous, I'm not going begrudge another for having a few chuckles. That's the difference in maturity. Buy some and try it on for size. You'll be surprised.

as for the rest? Current SNL has nothing on the original SNL cast. I mean, I thought back in the 80's that 80's SNL was crap compared to the original show, but this boring stuff makes me appreciate even some of that 80's SNL! How much worse can it get? Whatever. Some people probably like it, and is so, they seem easy to please in my opinion.

I hate Dave Matthews with the fury of a thousand suns but damn if he didn't nail Ozzy. I actually laughed out loud watching it, which is something I haven't done watching SNL since Peyton Manning hosted.

Went to see Dave Matthews once....reluctantly....because my fine, OkinawAmerican girlfriend wanted to see him. It was torture.
But, his new album is good. He is talented, kiddies, even though he's not growling and brutally thrashing & chugging riffs.
But....I think we've found the guy to fill in for Ozzy if he's ever down in the back or something! Best Ozzy impression ever.

dave mathews is such a douche although it may be funny, his douch-eee-ness interferes with anything he does to me.
I'm sure it's funny but, he's just such a douche and I agree w/ the post/threads where SNL has really faded over the years.
