OZZY OSBOURNE Performs With SLASH At 'LAYN Rocks!'; Video Available - Nov. 23, 2009
Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Idol are among the guest musicians who joined Slash for a special benefit concert in Los Angeles last night (November 22).

The ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist joined forces with a host of guest stars at the LAYN (Los Angeles Youth Network) charity show at the Avalon to help raise funds for the homeless.

Watch fan-filmed video footage of the performance below.

Read a review of the concert at ARTISTdirect.

The Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization based on helping over 10,000 homeless adolescents become self-sufficient by providing shelter, food, and counseling for the abused, neglected, and abandoned.

In a recent interview with ARTISTdirect.com, Slash stated about his involvement with LAYN Rocks!, "My wife, Perla, and I support LAYN. She's actually on the board. We're trying to raise money to keep it going, and we've been doing these 'Slash & Friends' gigs recently. Basically, we get a bunch of people together and put on a concert. Perla had asked me if I'd be interested in doing it to support LAYN, and I was fully into it! This will actually be the first 'Slash & Friends' gig I've done in Los Angeles. Basically, I wanted to put together something that would be a really big blowout, and that's what we've done!"

Doesn't Travis have more tats? Doesn't look like Adler either. Can anyone confirm who's playing drums on these clips?

ozzy always looks good on stage! everyone thinks of the osbournes when they picture ozzy which is unfortunate cause they made him look like an old fool. ozzy always gives 110% on stage! hes the godfather of this shit!!

Damn, he hasn't sounded that good since Live and Loud. Top notch!! This is the type of performance the fans get when he is well rested. I hope when we see the Ozz man on the road this summer he is this good, if he gets 2 or 3 days off in between I can see it happening. OZZY RULES!! Can't wait to hear the new album!!

He really does sound good...im shocked.
When he played MSG 2 yrs ago his voice was shot & has been for a long time. With Sabbath on Ozzfest he lost his voice after the 3rd song.
Oz will always be revered as the godfather of metal, nobody can take that away from him.

COMMENT | Slash's band is Guns'n'Roses?

Funny to see that everywhere Slash plays, it is never a song from the Slash's snakepit nor from Velvet Revolver but always from Guns'n'Roses...
Now honestly, I listened to all the albums and by far the Guns' are the best.

Wow, I would've pee'd my pants to have witnessed Ozzy and Slash on stage at the same time! And yeah that's without a doubt Travis Barker on the sticks. Dave Navarro is up there too playing lead guitar on everything by the sounds of it...
