AEROSMITH singer
Steven Tyler was in New York over the weekend to perform as part of
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To Cure Parkinson's", a benefit thrown by
Michael J. Fox at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Also appearing at the event were
Roger Daltrey,
Gregg Allman, and
Elvis Costello.

According to
The Boston Globe,
Tyler followers, who saw pictures of the Parkinson's event online, were on fan web site
AeroForceOne to evaluate the look of the embattled frontman. One fan said, "wow
Steven looks . . . cleaner? . . . uhmm . . . brighter? I don’t know the word for it but he sure looks less worn down in these photos." Another commented, "For a guy that's reportedly putting the final nail in his coffin, I've gotta say, he's never looked better!"
