Norway's THE KONSORTIUM will enter SOS studios in Stavanger next week with producers Arne Hovda and Ashley Stubbert to begin recording the band's full-length debut, tentatively due in early 2010 via Agonia Records. The group states, "We'll start with drums and bass, and in January it's time to start working on guitars and vocals."

THE KONSORTIUM recently announced the addition of guitarist Teloch (NIDINGR, UMORAL, NUNFUCKRITUAL, ORCUSTUS, GOD SEED, 1349, GORGOROTH) to the group's ranks.

According to a press release, THE KONSORTIUM performs "black metal with various thrash, avant-garde and non-metal influences creating [its] own atmosphere and identity. THE KONSORTIUM features various members. Some of them better and some of them [not as well] known to the metal (but not only) community."
