MATT SORUM Performs With BOMBASTIC MEATBATS In Japan; Video Available - Nov. 30, 2009

Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) joined the Los Angeles all-star band CHAD SMITH'S BOMBASTIC MEATBATS — featuring guitarist Jeff Kollman (COSMOSQUAD, GLENN HUGHES), bassist Kevin Chown (UNCLE CRACKER, TED NUGENT), and keyboardist Ed Roth (GLENN HUGHES, RONNIE MONTROSE) — for their appearance at the Gakki Fair in Yokohama, Japan on November 7, 2009. The MEATBATS recently concluded a successful tour of Japan with special guest Kenny Aronoff (JOHN FOGERTY, IOMMI) on drums filling in for co-founder Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, CHICKENFOOT). Several band shots and Tokyo live footage of "Pig Feet" with Aronoff can be viewed at this location.

CHAD SMITH'S BOMBASTIC MEATBATS' debut album, "Meet The Meatbats", was released on September 15 via Warrior Records/Universal in North America and October 12 through Edel/earMUSIC in Europe.
