Send Get-Well Card To RONNIE JAMES DIO

According to a posting on the BLACK SABBATH fan site Black-Sabbath.com, fans can send get-well cards to legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio ( DIO, HEAVEN & HELL, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW) through the official fan club address here: Dio Fan Club 12400 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 624 Studio City, CA 91604 Additionally, if you'd like to send an email to Ronnie, you can do so via getwellronnie@black-sabbath.com. After a short time, Black-Sabbath.com webmaster Joe Siegler will print them out and pass them over to Ronnie and his wife/manager Wendy Dio. Ronnie James Dio was diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer and is currently receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic. Dio, 67, has performed with ELF, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, and his own band DIO. Other musical projects include the collective fundraiser "Hear 'n Aid". He is widely hailed as one of the most powerful singers in heavy metal, renowned for his consistently powerful voice and for popularizing the "devil's horns" hand gesture in metal culture. He is currently involved with HEAVEN & HELL, a project which also includes Iommi and other former BLACK SABBATH bandmates Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice. Their first studio album, "The Devil You Know", was released on April 28, 2009.

No doubt about it, I'll be sending a card to my inspiration Ronnie James Dio. Not only is he the greatest musician, he's also such a nice and caring person. He's always there for the fans, it will be nice to give back and let him know that we are there for him step by step, by step.

Ronnie, i was devastated when i heard the news. You are truly one strong soul and you'll beat this without a doubt. I thank you for the times i got backstage to see you. And i'll never forget the time we had at Del Mar Station in Reno while you were recording the "Lock Up The Wolves" Album. Our time mostly one on one was the best night of my life and will remain in my heart forever. My prayers go out to you and your family. "CEPPI"

ELF, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, and DIO.... I've enjoyed music from all of those bands. I've never met dio but seen him live and it was a great concert! Cos I never never never never never get old!!! Best wishes! get well!

I recently got to now that you got ill and even though I didn't get the privilege of knowing the man I had the chance to know his incredibile musicianship and inspiring singing and artmanship!
My music wounldn't be the same without you!

You've taken a little fall but you will rise again! Since i was 12 years old i have seen almost every band i have wanted. I have seen you in concert 8 times 2 with "Heaven 'N' Hell" I think you are the "Best Frontman" in rock. All shows i've seen from 15 thousand seat arenas to the more personal shows like the "Edge Club" Palo Alto to the "House of Blues" Vegas Mandalay Bay if i remember correctly all "Rocked my world" And Ronnie after you beat this demon it would be a huge honor if you would take a look through my book of lyrics " That by the way i learned how to write from you" pick one and do it on an upcoming project. Dear Ronnie James Dio,
I'm a 48 yr old male
For more than 30 yrs now you have been my #1 favorite voice, attitude and inspiration in rock and roll and life in general. You and your music mean the world to me.
I have all of your cd's from Elf to the current music you are making with black sabbath. I've seen you perform more than 15 times starting in 1983 with DIO (in Oklahoma City Oklahoma) and as recently as May 2007 in Cincinnatti Ohio with the Sabs aka Heaven and Hell! I have met you twice (Oklahoma City and Denver) and I even was able to have you take a picture with me after one of your shows in Denver Colorado - so awesome! I have your autograph a few times, band and solo pictures, and all of the DVD's and t-shirts.
I've never ever been disappointed with a single performance! You set the bar so high that no others could ever exceed your standards.
I wish you only the very, very best! Fight the good fight Ronnie. My Mom is a cancer survivor of lung (2003), non-hodgkins lymphoma (1998) and even topical bladder cancer from time to time. So I do have a little insight to your battle. Slay that dragon sir! See ya soon performing like no other can!

Back when you were with Elf- i was a little too young to know. Then next your with Ritchie -what an awesome Rainbow. Onward to Black Sabbath three albums "Live Evil"- the best live i have heard. Compared to the others -my opinion is spread the word. Ventured on your own back in 82- Holy Diver released straight ahead with a view. Heven "N Hell rolls on with the scene- With you in front of this mighty Machine. Ronnie, I hope your feeling better and you get well soon. I have been a fan for years and first saw you in 1983 on the Holy Diver tour. Just saw you this year in Chicago after the storm from hell blew over. Front row and Ronnie my friend you have to get better becaue you get better live everytime I see you. Having only just read the news minutes ago I felt compelled to write as this touches me as both a devoted fan and someone experiencing my own health crisis.
Facing your mortality can be very frightening and isolating, but it can also be a time of tremendous personal strength and growth. It’s in these times of tribulation we discover not only who we are, but how completely the term “friend” fails to express what those special individuals mean to us. Take heart, there is an army of love behind you in your fight, and in those quiet and terrifying moments of darkness remember that we walk by faith not by sight.
