South African Metal Festival Aims To Set Record For 'Most People Headbanging Simultaneously'

21 of South Africa's top metal bands will perform at the MotherFUDD festival, set to take place March 12-14, 2010 at Malonjeni Guest Resort, South Africa. The event will also host what it claims to be "the first-ever official Guinness World Record for most people headbanging simultaneously" on March 13. The festival billing is shaping up as follows: AGRO

It's good to see the African metal scene expanding.
I'm sure one of the Euro fests will blow this record away but it's all in the name of metal conquest for world domination.

21x4=84, not 82, Smash-The-Crystal. Anyway, good estimate otherwise. How the fuck are they supposed to get an accurate count of this? I would love to see someone count this shit at Wacken, where over 100,000 people will be in the crowd.

easy now unholymunk666, I've heard of Sacrafist before, so I gave them a listen, and they were really bad. just my opinion. Apparently they have been around the longest so I thought they should be the best maybe. but I was wrong.

Can you smell the cheap PR ? I think I'll stay away from this festival
now. Last year they had a couple of hundred heads out there and the years before were bloody awful. btw...I don't think there is a current recrod for simultaneous headbanging, so this festival is sure to make history! What a joke.
