MAYHEM Frontman's VOID OV VOICES: Stockholm Performance Footage Available - Feb. 4, 2010
Demonia's Blogg has been updated with video footage of VOID OF VOICES' January 20, 2010 performance at Fylkingen in Stockholm, Sweden. Watch the clips below.

VOID OV VOICES is the new project from iconic TORMENTOR and MAYHEM frontman Attila Csihar based only on his processed voice.

VOID OV VOICES, which made its live debut in late 2008 in Moscow, will support post-black metal titans ULVER at London, England's Scala on February 10.

Performing since 1986 when he co-founded cult-metal band TORMENTOR, Attila is best known for his contribution to MAYHEM's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" album in 1993, a milestone for the black metal genre. Csihar is, or has been, a member of various groups such as PLASMA POOL, ABORYM, and KOROG. He has also done guest vocals (and toured) with SUNN O))), BURIAL CHAMBER TRIO and GRAVETEMPLE.

I know I'm gonna get crap for saying this. Attila is much better at experimental projects like this than fronting Mayhem. I've seen him twice with Sunn o))) and he was brilliant. Saw him perform as Void ov Voices in LA and it was great. I think he has a much broader range in style that what being in Mayhem allows him to be.

He should add some beatboxing, drum'n'bass style to that!

I haven't seem Sunn O))) live, but their album with Atilla on vocals is terrible in my opinion, sounds like some tacky poetry reading session with background noises

I don't know about new Mayhem, but Atilla did a great job on De Mysteriis, very intense vocal performance, that album has a unique hauting atmosphere thanks to his vocals

VoV is basically gregorian chant... it's kind of atmospheric, very medieval and dark, I guess it's interesting as an experiment
