Paul Williams of MusicWeek reports that LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant will perform at Abbey Road Studios in London, England in an intimate gig to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Sound & Vision, which is now in its fifth year and has so far raised more than £700,000, will take place at the celebrated studios on February 25 and will be hosted by Radio 2 DJ and Cancer Research UK patron Bob Harris.

Plant, whose set will feature U.S. singer-songwriter Beth Nielson Chapman and the London Oriana Choir, will be joined on the bill by David Gray and Newton Faulkner.

How 'bout rejoining LZ for at least just a tour and raise some REAL money for cancer research!?

The rest of the band are more than ready for it.

Hey, I'm just spitballing here :-)

That's a nice thing to do.

They should name a plant after him! The Robert Plant! :D
