the Melvins are undeniable!!! Their music, history, focus. . . and they are the most REAL band on Earth. They are also great people. I met them a couple of years ago and had BBQ with them in Birmingham after I interviewed them for a local NPR station. They were very impressive inside and out. Can't wait to see them again.

I drove from Orange county to Oakland to see Shrinebuilder last Saturday and met Dale as I walked into the venue. The coolest guy in the world and probably the best drummer out there. He stays very busy with his different projects, but still pounds the shit out of the drums. Buzz is the coolest too, and yes they do seem to get better as they get older. They have yet to dissapoint. I don't think they ever will.

I'm impressed with how productive they are these days, despite the members doing other stuff. A Senile Animal and Naked With Boots were both excellent albums and I'm sure the new one will be as well. I hope they come to Europe soon, I need my Melvins fix!
