INCANTATION Cancels Weekend Festival Appearances - July 30, 2010
Veteran U.S. death metal act INCANTATION has been forced to cancel its appearances at this year's Stonehenge and Mass Deathstruction festivals.

Commented INCANTATION frontman John McEntee: "It is with great regret we announce that we had to cancel our headlining festival appearance at the Stonehenge fest in Holland and the Mass Deathstruction fest in Belgium this weekend.

"Between us and our booking agent, we did all we could to try to make the fest appearance happen, but only after many attempts we had to come to the conclusion that there was just no way to make it happen.

"We want apologize to both fest organizers for giving us this opportunity. We also want to thank all our supporters that were looking forward to our performances. we know that both promoters are very stand-up people, and I'm sure both fest will be a great success."

INCANTATION is still scheduled to appear at the Hostile City Death Fest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 27 as well as the Noctis IV festival in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 24.

Would it be that the new members didn't have enough time to learn the setlist?

I can't stand most "death metal." Incantation is an exception.

Incantation today consists of Chuck on bass from Bloodstorm (hi Chuckster), Mcntee of course, Alex Bouks from Goreaphobia/soul burns, and I believe Jim Roe is mutlitasking in goreaphobia, incantatio, and some commercial band that tours Europe annualy..I forget the bands name. Roe is an amazing drummer. They probably could not make Europe due to fiscal issues and time limitations.

COMMENT | Saw Incantation in May....

Kyle Severn is most certainly playing drums. I bought a Megadeth t-shirt from him after their set.

COMMENT | Yes, Kyle is the drummer

So many of these guys are in one anoyhers bands that it becomes similar to a jigsaz puzzles pieces beign scattered upon the floor..you tend to forget which piece goes where exactly to create the whole picture. I recall Kyle in my bud's band, Acheron. Dunno em', but him and Vince have that Kojack thing going on.
