A brand-new two-minute interview with Eddie Van Halen, conducted over the phone this morning (April 9) by Greg Dwyer and Bill Michaels of the Davenport, Iowa radio station KCQQ Q106.5 FM, has been posted online at this location (file size: 2 MB). Commented Dwyer and Michaels: "We got Eddie on the phone this morning, but only for a couple minutes. He was in a pretty good mood. He couldn't talk long because he had a chick on the other line! But, he told us he was finishing up 'the third song' for the [upcoming 'best of'] album."

I am still excited, but its kind of odd that all of a sudden Sammy is back. I mean there was some really crazy shit that went down between him and Eddie. Maybe just maybe they got some cool tunes, I hope so!

These guys are from the quad cities. That is where I live, so it is a pretty big deal when this happens on their morning show. Usually they call Eddie. If you go to their site 2dorks.com (no www) then youcan hear another Eddie interview.

For those who "hate" Van Halen, it sure is funny how you keep coming back to this site. Can't get enough of VH huh? Seems like if you hated them so much, you would avoid whatever has to do with them. But yet, you keep going to their websites, reading news articles about them, and even posting messages about them. If you don't like "Van Hagar" then here's some advice: Don't go see them. It's that simple. Leave the tickets and good seats to the REAL fans. And while we're all rocking out at the concert having a really good time, you will be stuck at home in a bad mood, searching Van Halen sites and posting messages that don't mean a damn thing!!! LOL
And to Van Halen: See you in Fresno. I can't wait.
