KISS Frontman PAUL STANLEY Utilizing BOB KULICK's Studio To Track New Solo Album

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley has been utilizing longtime KISS associate Bob Kulick's recording studio in Los Angeles to track several songs for his upcoming solo album, Kulick revealed during a live phone interview on the "Friday Night Rocks" show on New York's Q104.3 Friday night (April 30). Asked to describe the direction of the material Stanley has been working on, Bob said that it was "too early" to tell exactly how the project will turn out, but that Stanley "has never sounded better." With regards to whether the music will follow a more "rock" vibe or it will be more pop-flavored than the KISS material, Kulick said that listeners can definitely expect some different-sounding things from Stanley than they are normally accustomed to hearing, but "don't expect Paul to turn into [ Oscar-, Grammy-, and Golden Globe-winning singer-songwriter] Christopher Cross just yet." Paul seriously needs to consider purchasing The Personal Eyebrow Groomer. Simply comb the Groomer over your eyebrows for that fresh salon-plucked look...everyday!
And he really should consider doing something with his hair. That IS his hair, right? Ya never know these days.

I really don't give a shit about Kiss but it seems silly to keep playing with the makeup and the rest of the get-ups without the originals. Just fucking get up there a play, stand by your music.
On second thought, I think it's pretty silly for 50-somethng year olds to do the makeup thing still regardless of the lineup.

Is good to see that picture with his family. He has a gorgeous woman!
And by the way...he is turning old, but not looking like a "bitten toothpick" like Mick Jagger does.
Will wait to listen to his new solo exert. His first solo album was great, where he showed how flexible as a songwriter/singer he was without lossing his roots.

last solo album was a masterpiece kiss made a wise decision in having a quality opening act this time around because in the past some of their opening bands have kinda sucked not this time though two headlining bands for under a hundred bucks this concert rules the summer.
