Bahraini Politician: Satanists Are Staging Rock Concerts As A Cover For Devil Worship

Robert Smith of the Gulf Daily News is reporting that a member of Bahraini Parliament is standing by his claims that Satanists in Bahrain are staging rock concerts as a cover for devil worship. But the 18-year-old Bahraini organizer of a concert believed to be at the centre of the allegations denied the claims. He dismissed reports that members of the audience "danced until they were drunk with hysteria". No alcohol was served during the event, which was largely attended by teenagers aged 16 to 18, said the organizer, who asked to remain anonymous. "When we planned the party I said I didn't want any alcohol — just soft drinks and food," he said. Some of the band members' parents were also at the event, according to the organizer. "This is not the first rock concert to be held in Bahrain," he told the Gulf Daily News. However, MP Shaikh Mohammed Khalid Mohammed stood by his claims. "I am scared for my family and children," said Shaikh Mohammed, who is MP for Constituency Six of the Northern Governorate. "It is the truth. I spoke to someone who admitted it is happening." i played in rock issues,and beleive me nothing like whats written up there happend!..there were no alcohol and all the other crap they said, we just organized the concert so people can come and have fun..PEACE !!

Normally I would question the credibility of that claim, but if you're gonna bust out a source as airtight as "someone" then I don't see how we can refute that claim.

The idea that rock is the devils music comes from the South of the USA, and basically it's because it comes from black music. Same for jazz, like someone said above.
On another front, I recently joined a forum where everyone was discussing 'the war of Northern aggression'. Good for a laugh, these are 13 year olds being raised to still hate the North. No wonder the USA is screwed.
